At previous HIIT and Functional fitness chains I've attended, they just rushed you through the workout, without any tips or corrections. At Distilled fitness they will let you know how you can improve movements. It is also a great community of people, with a large range of fitness levels. Anyone would feel welcome.“

Before I started working with him, I was working out consistently but not seeing the progress I wanted to see.
Since working with Lucas, I’ve more than doubled the weight I can handle in my barbell back squats, I can actually see my triceps now, and for the first time in my life I can bench press more than just the bar (big deal for me as a woman).
His knowledge and empathy make him a fantastic coach for anyone but especially for people like me—busy professionals who love the gym but don’t have the time or knowledge to plan the best program to get on track with our goals efficiently.
Training might feel like an indulgent expense, but I can’t stress enough how instrumental working with Lucas has been for me when it comes to having fun at the gym, making progress, and building a healthier mindset and habits for long-term success!“

Whether you need someone to be your tough love trainer, knock the soft drink out of your hand, or just remind you that you have the tools you need and show you how to implement them, she is top notch. Her breadth and depth of knowledge in fitness is outstanding - she has helped me in so many stages of fitness. Whether during pregnancy, post partum, to get healthier, to rehab from injury, she has carefully walked me through exercises and programs that are helpful and sustainable while still challenging me. She also celebrates every win, even if it's 2 extra reps, that .3 pounds that gets you the the next threshold, or a hitting a massive goal. Her nutrition coaching is tailored to your level of accountability. I haven't taken advantage of her group classes as much as I would like due to my own schedule, but I have enough to know she is just as good there. I consistently recommend her to my friends when they say they need a little help. It's not always going to be a fast dramatic transformation, but if you put in the work it's going to be done well.“

It was 3 trainings a week, now we switched it to 5 (because that’s what I wanted) and he is still very flexible about time we are meeting. He is going above a beyond to accommodate our schedules and even if it’s not possible within a certain day, Silas sending me list of exercise, so I can do it by myself. I could not imagine a better combination of performance and convenience than this guy is performing for me. Thank you!“

After being brushed off by many doctors on my conditions, telling me what I had was allergies, I was unsure where to start and luckily I came across Sõl Perry fitness page. Sõl has been very supportive in finding ways to help me from feeling like I’m about to pass out during my workouts. I can clearly say that I’ve never felt much healthier and stronger than I do now. 1301 Frankfort Ave, Louisville“It’s too bad that Planet Fitness already claimed the “Judgment Free Zone” slogan, because The Training Studio actually embodies that.I was urged by Rob Gentile at KORT Partners (St. Matthews) to start working out here at the beginning of this year. I had seen Rob for a few periods of time since last May when I had a fall off of my horse that injured my spine. He explained that transitioning to an appropriate level of strength training would help me to build off of the foundation that physical therapy had given me and would allow me to keep up my strength instead of losing it after leaving PT again.From the start, there was no judgment. I consulted with Dale, the owner, and he steered me towards personal training with Zach. From my very first time at the studio, I was met at the level I was at. Every single trainer/coach there has been fabulous and I think I’ve now worked with most of them at least a few times. The personal attention you get either in private training sessions OR in any of the groups is unmatched. You will be pushed to your limit, but absolutely not past it. If you can’t do any particular exercise, the coaches will help you do a modified version and build you up until you can. Past injuries and limitations are taken into account always. From someone who had never formally “worked out” before, THIS is the place to be. You’re going to find a new love for fitness, you’re going to make friends in the tight-knit TS community, and you’re going to improve your health and life.I’ve not only gotten stronger physically, but getting up and going to work out here most days has made a noticeable improvement on my mental health as well.I cannot possibly recommend the Training Studio enough. You owe it to yourself to try it out.“
“I walkout of from my massages and feel like I have a new lease on life. My fiance has noticed much better posture (I'm short, so this matters!). I have also noticed I am much more limber, flexible, and more cognizant of my body! I am somewhat-relatively frugal, I can justify this weekly massage without hesitation. Doesn't hurt that they are so completely knowledgeable about the inner workings of the body! Can't recommend more!“

Andrew has been able to put together well thought out lifting/exercise circuits that are continually pushing within range of failure and somehow getting them to neatly fit into 30 minutes. We’ve made progress improving shoulder stability, getting me back in shape, and steadily regaining muscle mass and strength.“
