2041 River Rd, Louisville“Really nice location/facility and really knowledgeable and friendly staff. Andrew has been able to put together well thought out lifting/exercise circuits that are continually pushing within range of failure and somehow getting them to neatly fit into 30 minutes. We’ve made progress improving shoulder stability, getting me back in shape, and steadily regaining muscle mass and strength.“

1864 Frankfort Ave #100, Louisville“I have been coming to grit for about a year and a half and think I have finally found my forever gym. The semi private classes are SO fun and unpredictable. They change the format every 12 weeks so that you have a new focus and the workouts use every type of equipment imaginable (dumbbells, weights, barbell, sled, kettle bells, balls, row, ski, bike, bands, and more) so that you are constantly learning and pushing yourself to move in new ways. They have also formed a very fun community and everyone gets to know each other during the workouts in a way that feels very real and not forced.
I have to shout out coach Taylor who does such a wonderful job not only coaching but community building. She really tries to get to know you and talk about your interests, how your week went, how your nutrition is going, as well as helps you during the workouts if you need a modification or if you’re feeling pain in a specific area. On top of that she is so much fun and makes the workouts fly by.
If all that’s not enough, the gym is SO nice and immaculately maintained. All of the equipment is super modern and they literally have everything, including 2.5 lb clips you can add to a dumbbell to go from 20 to 22.5 if you want. I had never seen that in my life and it was so helpful in trying to bump up weight for certain exercises.
Grit has some pretty generous trial offerings so if you’ve thought about coming there is nothing to lose by trying one of the classes. Even if you are a newbie everyone is super welcoming and the coaches will help you. There is nothing to lose or fear and you may find that you’ve stumbled upon a workout you can actually stick to and see results. Give Grit a try!“

946 Goss Ave, Louisville“I can’t recommend Lucas highly enough!
Before I started working with him, I was working out consistently but not seeing the progress I wanted to see.
Since working with Lucas, I’ve more than doubled the weight I can handle in my barbell back squats, I can actually see my triceps now, and for the first time in my life I can bench press more than just the bar (big deal for me as a woman).
His knowledge and empathy make him a fantastic coach for anyone but especially for people like me—busy professionals who love the gym but don’t have the time or knowledge to plan the best program to get on track with our goals efficiently.
Training might feel like an indulgent expense, but I can’t stress enough how instrumental working with Lucas has been for me when it comes to having fun at the gym, making progress, and building a healthier mindset and habits for long-term success!“
“Went once while in town visiting family. They do a good job here. Really cool “shotgun” style studio layout. Shannon our instructor is motivating and attentive, she’s a pro ?“

As an update since it asked I haven't been in a long time. Started back and go at noon now and while it's busier I was easily able to do everything I wanted. Wasn't over crowded“

205 W Wellington Ave, Louisville“I’ve met Silas more than a year ago and since then my results are way better. At the same time I’m spending about twice less time on trainings than I used to. It was 3 trainings a week, now we switched it to 5 (because that’s what I wanted) and he is still very flexible about time we are meeting. He is going above a beyond to accommodate our schedules and even if it’s not possible within a certain day, Silas sending me list of exercise, so I can do it by myself. I could not imagine a better combination of performance and convenience than this guy is performing for me. Thank you!“

1914 Bardstown Rd, Louisville“I am so thankful for Body & Soul Personal Training. I've been working out with them for seven months. My primary trainer has been Bruce but I've trained with Shane and David as well. All are great, very personable and find ways to challenge you. I am now in the best shape of my life, putting in work on my own as well, and the best health of my life. I wouldn't have been where I am at today without their help to get me started on my lifelong fitness journey.“
“I walkout of from my massages and feel like I have a new lease on life. My fiance has noticed much better posture (I'm short, so this matters!). I have also noticed I am much more limber, flexible, and more cognizant of my body! I am somewhat-relatively frugal, I can justify this weekly massage without hesitation. Doesn't hurt that they are so completely knowledgeable about the inner workings of the body! Can't recommend more!“

1301 Frankfort Ave, Louisville“It’s too bad that Planet Fitness already claimed the “Judgment Free Zone” slogan, because The Training Studio actually embodies that.I was urged by Rob Gentile at KORT Partners (St. Matthews) to start working out here at the beginning of this year. I had seen Rob for a few periods of time since last May when I had a fall off of my horse that injured my spine. He explained that transitioning to an appropriate level of strength training would help me to build off of the foundation that physical therapy had given me and would allow me to keep up my strength instead of losing it after leaving PT again. From the start, there was no judgment. I consulted with Dale, the owner, and he steered me towards personal training with Zach. From my very first time at the studio, I was met at the level I was at. Every single trainer/coach there has been fabulous and I think I’ve now worked with most of them at least a few times. The personal attention you get either in private training sessions OR in any of the groups is unmatched. You will be pushed to your limit, but absolutely not past it. If you can’t do any particular exercise, the coaches will help you do a modified version and build you up until you can. Past injuries and limitations are taken into account always. From someone who had never formally “worked out” before, THIS is the place to be. You’re going to find a new love for fitness, you’re going to make friends in the tight-knit TS community, and you’re going to improve your health and life.I’ve not only gotten stronger physically, but getting up and going to work out here most days has made a noticeable improvement on my mental health as well.I cannot possibly recommend the Training Studio enough. You owe it to yourself to try it out.“

“By joining 413 my biggest sustainable change has been realizing that 6am workouts fit my lifestyle best and help me stay consistent. I’ve also learned that I’m stronger than I give myself credit for once I get out of my own head. I discovered that I genuinely enjoy strength training instead of only focusing on cardio. My mindset around fitness has shifted a lot too — I’m no longer chasing being “in the best shape of my life,” but instead focusing on being strong, healthy, and present for my family. Thankful for the 413 coaches and my new group of friends!“
