They charged three separate fees, service call fee, labor fee and diagnosis fee, which was little confusing. Their refrigerant rate was more than double then a competitor ( $ 210 per lbs for R-410) which substantially increased the cost of repair. The tech was knowledgeable and diagnose the issue/leak in evaporator coil, however would get second estimate from competitor to ensure being offered a fair price.“

“I have used R-Mech for 3 different services. The biggest one was a new HVAC system. My 33 yr old AC died 4th of July weekend. I got quotes from 3 other companies then remembered what a great job R-Mech replacing my hot water heater the year before. Their HVAC person was the only one who checked my electric panel to see if it could support the unit I needed. Other companies tried to sell me a much larger system than I needed.R-Mech gave me the option of paying a little extra to have my install done on a Saturday, rather than wait until Monday.
