They’re always super patient and kind and now both my kids come here! I most recently came alone with both my kids and we were the only ones in the salon- each time one kid was in the chair, the lady at the front was always helping me with the other kid while we waited! She planned nail colors and shampoo scents with my daughter and then brought toys and stickers to my son! Both of my kids (and myself!) had such a great time and I wish I would have gotten the front desk woman’s name bc she was a GEM!!

I recently talked to a neighbor who had complications after heart surgery. This person got an infection afterwards and had to take antibiotics through a pic line. This person was upset that nobody from the many doctors to the home health people could give any information relating to when the pic line would come out, etc. This had been an ongoing problem. After hearing this, I feel so fortunate to have Dr. Daniel Geha and the Ward Parkway Health Services staff taking care of me. I have never had to wonder what was needed and why, how it would be taken care of and when, and if my other doctors and home health care givers where on the same page. Communication betwrrn Dr. Geha and Dr. David Anderson (knee surgery surgeon) was and still is taking place. In today's world of medicine where there are multiple doctors involved in a patient's care as it relates to isolated problems as well as overall care, it is imperative that communication to all those involved, doctor, care givers, physical therapists and patient, be considered just as important as the actual medical procedures, etc. Dr. Daniel Geha and the staff at Ward Parkway Health Center have my gratitude, respect and genuine appreciation and thanks for all that they do to take care of me and all their patients.

Liz is an incredible hair stylist, she expertly wrangles my curls into an easy-to-style masterpiece (no small feat!) that I can actually replicate on my own (also no small feat!). Not only that (but that is more than enough for me), she gives her clients the royal treatment, often going the extra mile with a hand massage, or a massage via her massage chair, or a deal on one of her excellent products, to mention a few. She is a cut above (pun intended) and worth every dollar spent (tip her good, she's worth it!).

After 25 years I decided to grow my beard back and within a month I needed a trim. Now I’ve been back 3 times to keep from getting to look by Gabby Hayes, the old codger from the 50’s and 60’s. Jake in the last chair seems to know what I want to look like. Cheaper than the salon I used to go to.

I was VERY pleased with my visit today! I was kind of skeptical going in as the last time I got my nails done at a different salon I hated what I left with, the lady cut me multiple times, and she didn't listen to what I asked for but I decided to give nail salons another go. I wanted something cute and simple for summer so I looked to see what salons were around me and stumbled across this one as it had the highest ratings out of all the salons near me. There wasn't a website or a number to call to make an appointment online so I showed up and asked one of the ladies if I could make an appointment and she helped me get one for today at 3 (which was only an hour and a half after I arrived so I went to kill some time) for both a pedi and a french manicure. When I showed up at my appointment time I was quickly taken to a seat to start soaking my feet while my nail lady finished another client which only took about 10 minutes, she then started on my pedicure which took only 30 minutes for a white gel polish. After she finished my toes she moved me to a manicure table and started on my nails. I wanted short yellow French tips with white flowers on the ring fingers and she gave me exactly that. She made sure everything was to my liking from the color of my nails to the shape of them. She even double-checked with me before she started each service which was very reassuring to me. She was quick and efficient with me and made my experience very enjoyable! The entire service (a gel pedi and a French dip mani) only took an hour and a half as I left the salon around 4:30. I wasn't able to tip her what she fully deserved because I didn't have any cash on me however, I will definitely be back again and I will make sure to tip her double when I do! Thank you for the wonderful experience!!

My sister in law suggested I give her go to spot a try - & I am so happy I did! Walk ins are welcome but she recommended I call ahead to see if an appointment would be available. Lucky for me they were able to get me in right away. I was paired with Henry, whom did such a wonderful job! I showed him the inspo pic I was envisioning & he made it happen. Never felt rushed, he was very gentle & kind. I had a gel dip manicure done with the color "love on the brain". Obsessed! & already looking forward to coming back to him again!

I had my lashes done at ALS in Leawood and loved the relaxing experience. Alyssa has the softest touch and does an amazing job! If you want to talk during your appointment, she’s good with that or lets you relax for an hour. My lashes had many compliments and had super retention. She’s the only one I trust with my lashes!
I’m 31 years old, and I have never found a stylist I truly loved—until now. I have really curly hair (type 3c), and finding someone who actually knows what they’re doing has been a lifelong struggle. I’ve seen other level 3 DevaCut stylists in the KC area, only to leave feeling upset because they cut my hair too short or in ways that I’m still trying to fix years later. But Christopher is different.
From the start, he took the time to ask me how I wanted to look, how long I wanted my hair, and what my concerns were. It was so refreshing to feel heard. He made sure not to cut it too short and then spent extra time making sure every single curl looked good—separating them, shaping them, and even having me tussle my hair so he could go back through and perfect it. He did things no one else has ever done, and it made all the difference.

Salon 119 was able to fit me in for a haircut last minute which was such a blessing. I showed Brooke pictures of the type of cut I wanted and she gave me helpful suggestions and showed confidence in what was achievable. Throughout the haircut Brooke was enjoyable to talk to.

Angelo Catenacci and his construction team, including Brad Ballenger, were the best contractors we’ve worked with. They recently remodeled our home by making a very small bedroom into a new master suite, bath and walk-in closet using existing unused space. They were not only hardworking, but enjoyable to work with. Both Angelo and Brad were involved the entire time, and shared advice and ideas making the project better. This is by far the best practice I’ve ever visited. Have regularly visited Stephen since 2012. I’ve seen it all in Chiropractors over 25 yrs. They are 100% professional. Philosophy to “best approach” definitely varies with chiropractors, but KC Sports Docs perfectly combine sports therapy (or repetitive motion injury in my case) with traditional alignment techniques. Highly recommend for anyone, especially those who have a physically demanding job or lifestyle.

After working with Dr. Alexander, we not only figured it out but we developed a successful treatment plan. Any time my back pain flares up, I visit here to get fixed. Sunshine works miracles. I highly recommend her deep tissue massage. My sciatica goes away for months to a year after I get her deep tissue massage.
Came in for the 45 min reflexology, and was impressed with my service! Mike was my massage therapist and he did an awesome job. Great pressure and relief from my shoulders and neck pain. It’s a little uncomfortable sometimes but you should know that’s a good sign! The 45min included some massage and pressure points on my arms as well as hot stones. From what I understand the 60 min will include neck and shoulder as well so I will try that one next time! Highly recommend giving them a try.

Bc this is my first time ever getting a massage professionally done, it hurt more than it felt good but I’m sure it’s bc of my lack of massages. Writing this review a couple hours later I do feel great! Hopefully booking with them more and gaining more knowledge of massages will help me rate this better!
