“We have an old house and had a big job to be done. We had an older well pump removed, a water softener installed, the main water valve replaced, new plumbing lines and new outdoor faucets installed. With this they also repaired a few areas of the plumbing that had leaked in the past and replaced a few non functioning valves.Because it was non urgent and the scale of our job we took our time and contacted multiple companies for quotes. CMP price was reasonable, but the true reason we picked them over other companies was their people. Dave came to our home for the quote and took the time to explain options to us. He was knowledgeable, kind, and clearly experienced. We were very confident we were going to pick CMP after our experience with Dave even before all of the quotes came in.When it came time for service, they did have to reschedule us once which was not a big deal. It was out of their control and what resonated with us was their impeccable communication. Laura contacted me as soon as she knew and made it easy to reschedule. Throughout the quote and scheduling process, Laura was able to communicate primarily with us via email which is so helpful. Communication is everything to us, and CMP has that.Dave and his apprentice arrived when they said they would, were thorough, professional, and cleaned up after they were done. Later we discovered that the water softener had an intermittent leak after hours. Dave gracefully took my call, talked me through how to divert it, offered to come back out that evening or first thing the next morning. He came back that next morning right when he said he would and was able to fix it within 30 minutes. In a crazy string of bad luck, after they left that same day, the boot to our ejector pump split open and was leaking all over our basement. I called the office and asked for an emergent call. Dave came back that same day and fixed it for a reasonable price. He had been to our house so many times at this point it was comical, and he came in so friendly and accommodating. We all got a good laugh over our luck by that point.The entire experience is so much better than anything we have had in the past with other contractors. The few bumps we had were quickly taken care of. I think it says more about a company with how they deal with these types of issues than anything and CMP was absolutely amazing. I've waited a few months to write this review to make sure we have had no issues so I can confidently say their work is great as well. Dave and Laura were our two main contacts there, and I cannot say enough good things about either of them. We would absolutely use them again, and have given their contact information to our friends and family.“

“Survived the storm but woke at 2:30 AM to overflowing kitchen sink. I thought Water softener backing up into sink. Culligan came out n not the softener tank. I had to call plumbers for help. No idea what's going on. They came out and these guys are the best. We've had to have them out for several things in last few years (45 year old house) and each time they have treated us with respect, very professional and were very friendly. Have always explained what the problem was and what the fix and cost would be. Very fair. Will always use them.“

“Tom helped us refinish our cast iron tub after a bathroom renovation left us with a very damaged tub. He refinished and glossed it all within very short notice of us needing the project done asap. Not to mention, I ended up going into labor when he was scheduled to come out and he communicated so well and got the job done while we were still in the hospital.
