Great service! Dan came out the same day I called and set traps on my roof to catch the raccoons! Steve came out the next day and re-bated the traps. Hopefully we will have the pesky raccoons in jail soon!

I had another plumber out for a clogged main and he was gracious enough to tell me he didn’t have the right equipment and suggested I call Gatlin, because he was certain they would be able to do it if anyone could. Not only did they get the clog fixed in a very timely and professional manner (they were here about an hour after I called and I live 40 mins from their shop), but Eddie was about as good a guy as you’re gonna find and super knowledgeable about what he was doing as well. My first and only call for future plumbing needs will absolutely be Gatlin! If you have plumbing needs, call the courteous, professional, knowledgeable folks at Gatlin and be confident it’ll get done without them trying to do extra work you don’t need. Oh, and I was also very pleased with the price!

There are not enough words to say how GRATEFUL I am to united services for all they have done for my family. We were displaced after a fire, not knowing how to manage the rebuild of our beloved home we hired a public adjustor to help- he ended up being a THEIF tried to steal the money for our rebuild. We were forced to go to court to fire the public adjustor- after OVER 2 years of time lost in our family home to say we were distraught is an understatement. We had no idea where to begin. United services Russ, Terry and Josh are an absolute DREAM TEAM and the answer to our prayers. Russ has been amazing, helping us understand each step he was taking, working with my insurance company ensuring we had enough funds to rebuilt our home properly. Terry and Josh are angels!!! Terry with his weekly updates of the processes and projects being started and completed. He ALWAYS took all my calls and text messages, after 2+ years of homelessness I have not been an easy client. NEVER has he made me feel like I am too much or that my voice is not heard. Josh is AN EXPERT CRAFTSMAN. his work is IMPECTABLE!!! To say I am pleased is an understatement. I will forever be in debt to this company for giving my family back the home we left very unexpectedly 2+ years ago. Hudec Woodworking really is about the Wow! From the short time I have had the pleasure of working along side them I can personally say they handle every aspect of their business with professionalism and gratitude. I had first learned of Hudec through my Uncle who has been a customer. I remember because he had pointed them out while we ate at Coopers Hawk in Chicago.

Great service. Currently, having a bow window installed. 2013, new roof & gutters & 2014 - 3 new exterior doors to house, garage, and screen doors. Our family has had several houses with new roofs, new garage built, and siding. Great family owned business. Fred & Chris are great to work with and the employees are very nice, as well!! They were quick, responsive and quality. I called a number of contractors. Hobson & Scott called me back in a timely manner. Came out when they said they would for an estimate. They were pleasant and factual. Absolutely no bs from them at all. The work was quality and you wouldn’t know they were here, except the new gutters. They left absolutely no debris behind! I have more work to get done and they will absolutely be getting that work when it’s time. If you want an honest, quality, hassle free experience, this is the contractor for you!
Started out with a flat tire Monday morning, called them as they were closest and they said air it up and come in, they will fix it. Made it there and while there asked for pricing on new tires. Gave me a very fair price and I went in this morning to get new tires. They didn't charge me for fixing my flat tire since I was coming in for new ones. Love this place and people are wonderful. The facility is great. Communication with a coach that runs the lessons wasn't so great. Hopefully we will be able to get things straightened out and my youngest will be able to play.
Called Gary am 8-4-25 for a plugged main drain. Gary arrived promptly and got to work. Gary was able to get the main drain flowing in a short time. Gary diagnosed what he thought was causing the problem as a misalignment. Gary gave me options to repair thr drain permanently. Really great advice as Gary has several decades of experience having seen every possible plumbing issue. Reasonably priced. I recommend Gary Downing for any plumbing need.

Mike and his son did an excellent job with replacing our new AC unit. After getting my hair butchered by my barber of over 3years with a fading talent. Barber Dario sorry if misspelled saved me. I came in as a walk in explained my situation and the barber said take a seat I’ll take care of you. It was a long wait as this barber shop is always packed due to great quality. But Dario finished his last cut and got me right doing his best to fix another’s mess up. I appreciated the effort as I walked out feeling more confident with the work done by him he will be my new barber and gained at least 3 clients that day. As we all are tired of the other barbers shenanigans. If you need a clean cut go here as I saw everyone walking out with clean cuts and smiles.
Only place to take my pain seriously. I was thoroughly evaluated, and an honest schedule of expectations and price was laid out. I wasn't just dismissed as a run of the mill patient like some other chiropractic clinics. This place is like family and treats you as such.

They did a solid job and I will always support my sisters in this world. The question should ask compare them to all the other tint shops mostly run by males because they are just as good if not better. What I did like was she doesn’t want to work on peoples cars that don’t really value their car. They bring the car with crap everywhere in the car and want them to tint it. If it were my business and I owned a tint shop the sign would say please bring your car to me clean inside in out if you can’t provide that move on because it will for sure have dust and other imperfections. I brought her 2 cars and they were spotless in and out and the job turned out tremendous because of that caveat. I will bring all my cars to her.
Awesome customer service Chuck was amazing diagnosed my daughter‘s car made recommendations that would improve the driving experience for my daughter made those repairs and adjustments as well. I couldn’t be more satisfied the communication the price the honesty and the effort put in to fix my daughter‘s car. I will definitely be going back and sending everyone. I know there. It’s so nice to find an honest auto repair shop that repairs cars in a timely manner with fair pricing that go above and beyond for customer satisfaction Thank you so much for all you do for the community.
We have an older house built in the 50's and it desperately needed new flooring. We really wanted to support local so we checked out Hometown Floors in Griffith and loved their selection. They came out, took their measurements, and helped us narrow down our choices. Once we selected a style, made the deposits, and scheduled our installation date everything went very smoothly. The crew came out, ripped everything out, and had roughly 99% of the new floor installed all in the first day. As mentioned, we have a very old house so we KNEW there would be surprises hidden underneath that would add extra work, and our suspicions were very correct. It took about 3 days to complete, 1 day over the original time (again, very old house with plenty of surprises and curveballs).
Staff was great to work with and the crew they sent out were VERY professional, VERY courteous, and VERY hard working. We'd come back if we had any floor left to replace :)

I reached out to Craig couple of months ago to do some painting, drywall work on my newly purchased home. Craig did some work years ago so I thought I could use his help again. Please know this if you are considering Craig for any type of work… he is not a man he was years ago. Craig is a drug addict unable to focus or commit to doing work. Unable to show on time or do quality work. While working on my project, his kids were taken by the DCS, and he ended up in jail for a week. He damaged my newly installed hardwood floors, completely messed up the brick fireplace he worked on which had to be redone as well as gallons of paint waisted translated to thousands of dollars. Everything he did has to be redone. I was lucky to find a professional contractor who was able to quickly come in and make a difference. At some point he started sleeping at the house I was remodeling overnight with his dog that pooped all over the house further damaging the floors. I dealt with a lot of contractors in my time but by far this is the craziest situation/contractor I had to deal with it. Lastly, after disappearing for 3 weeks he decided to show up to pick up his tools.. extremely high on drugs could hardly walk mumbling about crazy things. I am glad I was able to move on from this situation and to finish the project in time.
I found Black's Plumbing through the licensed contractors section of my city’s Building Division website and decided to reach out, so glad I did! We had a buffalo box that needed to be dug up and replaced at one of our properties. They were super communicative throughout the whole process. Even when they were running a bit late, they gave me a heads-up, which I really appreciated. The work was done efficiently, and they were completely upfront and honest about everything.
Definitely planning to use them again in the future. If you’re looking for a reliable, transparent plumber, I’d highly recommend giving them a call!
Omg!!!! AYO is the bomb y’all!! You have to go get your hair done by her. This was my 1st time trying her and you better believe it won’t be my last. She did an awesome job clean and friendly facility very friendly. She is the best I’ve had this year that DOES NOT PULL YOUR EDGES and she NOT heavy handed. She started my hair @4p I was out by 8p! She really cares about her clients she kept making sure I was ok and asked if I needed to stand(8months pregnant). AYO also gave me a bottle of her own home made oil it makes your shake grow and scalp feel wonderful. THANK YOU AYO I WILL BE BACK.

A gentleman by the name of Nick came out and gave us an estimate. A few weeks later the team of 3, Ben, Katrina, and Aiden came and did the attic blown in insulation. They were very respectful to our home and covered there shoes as to not dirty the carpets, covered everything in the area with tarps and plastic. They were very informative of the steps as they went along and were very polite. My husband and I were extremely pleased with company with the way each one presented themselves.
