I chose this plumber based upon our first phone conversation where he displayed a very high level of knowledge, passion and personal care. I was not wrong. I made the right choice. Gary Downing is a 1 man operation, and a wonderful person, with over 40 years of plumbing experience and he has since done several more plumbing jobs for me. I fear the day when he retires.FYI: The few negative reviews posted here are not accurate, there’s another plumbing company in NWI called Downing plumbing and those reviewers are leaving their review for the wrong company.

I highly recommend Gary Downing in Griffith. Local guy, very prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. Came in and knew right away how to fix a very stubborn clog that my husband worked at for 3 days. His price was also very fair. If you need a plumber, call this guy.
