My husband and I went to Second Street for lessons leading up to our daughter's wedding this May. We had no dance experience (like, none) but learned more than enough to dance and have a great time at the reception! Shekoda was an amazing, patient instructor who made our lessons relaxed and fun, and the lesson time availability worked with our busy work schedules. We're so glad we stepped out of our comfort zone and took the time to learn to dance!
What a lovely, talented, fun group of employees. We went here for my 2yr old bday and they made an amazing farm party theme come to life. Then, they made an amazing theme of “Monsters inc & Mermaids” for my 4 yr old. They are so creative, consultative and professional. We’ll be back!

2022-Recently moved to the area and needed to find a stylist for me and my daughters. Bethany is amazing. So sweet, kind, and amazing at her craft. My daughter has thick curly hair and Bethany always knows exactly how to cut and style it. It’s hard to find someone who can cut curly hair! I decided to get balayage after not getting my hair done for over 6 years and she did a awesome job! I loved the way my hair turned out. Everyone here is always very nice, and welcoming.

Great job. Disabled veteran owned. Great atmosphere. Met the owner and a few other girls. All super friendly. I’ve been looking for a new place and this one is it. I’m not trying to go wait hours to get in plus get a hour and a half cut. I want it done right but in 30 minutes and they delivered on that. This will be me and my kids new spot for haircuts!!! Purchased by long term employees, they’ve added just what the salon needed besides just it’s talented technicians; now it’s a warm and friendly atmosphere as well and it puts them over the top of any local competitors. I am OBSESSED with my nails!! Ken did amazing!!! The shape is perfect and the design came out even better than I imagined. The polka dots are so clean and precise, and the whole set looks flawless. Everyone here was so kind and took their time to make sure everything was perfect. I will 100% be back!!

I’ve been going to this place since opening in 2018. My favorite person is Dipa for body waxing. She’s very professional,meticulous and very gentle. The process is painless for me since she cares a lot. She wouldn’t rush you and she wouldn’t mess up your clothes like others did. Location is very convenient since I’m frequent shopper at Schererville Walmart and the best thing is that you don’t have to make an appointment. Walk ins are very welcomed. So next time you’re making trip to Walmart stop by and give Dipa a try. Forgot to mention that this place is twice cheaper than any other salons.

Chris Brewer was absolutely fantastic with our bathtub drain clog. It was so bad that it turned out he had to replace all the drain pipe under the tub in our basement. It was a much bigger job than was expected, but Chris stuck with it until the pipe was changed and the drain was flowing freely. Great job!

Marc, the technician sent by HomeServe, arrived on time and was very professional. He repaired one issue outside the home and clearly explained what the electrical problem was. I had about ten electricians come out before him, and several of them tried to convince me the repair would cost over $4,000.
After Marc listened to me and explained that the real issue was a neutral repair, he told me the typical cost should only be around $300–$400 at most. Because of his honesty and explanation, I didn’t get taken advantage of. The electrician who came afterward confirmed the same issue and completed the work for $400 to repair all the sockets—not $4,000 like others were trying to charge.
I truly appreciate HomeServe for sending an honest and knowledgeable technician. Marc took the time to explain the problem and saved me from being overcharged. When I even checked the issue through ChatGPT, it gave the same explanation and estimated cost that both electricians confirmed. Honest service like this is hard to find, and I’m very grateful.

Matrix for the win! They exceeded my expectations with a planned laundry remodel and an unexpected burst pipe in the slab of my bathroom. Matrix thoroughly explained all of the work that needed to be done, answered all of my questions, were friendly, professional and tackled every older home surprise with ease. My laundry room went from a complete massacre to a beautiful space! Once the bathroom was gutted, deep valleys in the slab were exposed, this meant filling and leveling the slab before moving forward. The result was a bathroom that was unrecognizable from the original, the custom tile and finishes make the space feel like a luxury bathroom. I highly recommend Matrix for every project.
