When I tell you this space is AMAZING!!!!! I was invited here last night as a vendor! The owners were so friendly & inviting! The ambience is amazing & venue was decorated so elegantly!! I can say this is a Chicago's hidden gem ? & best kept secret.
We are so thankful we chose the Spohn Ballroom for our wedding reception. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The ballroom is absolutely beautiful and has such an elegant feel without needing a ton of extra decorating. Walking into the reception space for the first time and seeing everything come together was one of my favorite moments of the entire day. It honestly felt like a dream.
One thing that really sets the Spohn Ballroom apart is Wendy. She was incredible to work with from start to finish. She always took the time to answer our questions, met with us before the wedding to go over every detail, and made sure we felt prepared so the day could run smoothly. My family also kept commenting on how calm and helpful she was during both setup and teardown, which meant so much because everyone was able to enjoy the day instead of feeling stressed.
As a wedding photographer, I've worked at a lot of venues over the years, so I've seen firsthand what makes a venue coordinator great. Now that I've experienced it as a bride, I can honestly say Wendy stands out. She was everything I could have hoped for and made the whole experience feel so much less stressful.
We also loved the getting-ready spaces and all of the indoor photo locations. They're gorgeous and made it so easy to get beautiful photos without having to leave the venue. There are also several great spots for portraits just outside, and we loved that everything was within walking distance.
If you're looking for a reception venue that's beautiful, well run, and full of people who truly care, I can't recommend the Spohn Ballroom enough. We wouldn't change a thing.

I reccomend the Woman's Retreat in Goshen. I went here after I had a mammogram at Elkhart General Hospital that came back that they found a mass in my left breast. When I recieved my results online, it's very frightening, shocking. I had an overload of all different emotions. I was afraid. I attempted to contact my doctor at The Oak Street Health with no success. It's been over a month since the finding in my mammogram and I still have never recieved a call back from my doctor at Oak Street Health. You gotta call a call center in Chicago and they then will dictate if they will forward a message to your doctor or not, it's up to them, there is no way to call your doctor directly or the office that he practices out of. So after I couldn't reach my primary care physician, I called Beacon Women's Health at Elkhart General where I had my mammogram asking for direction, the woman who answered the phone was short with me, informed me that she couldn't guide me to my next move, she couldn't tell me nothing that I just have to wait to talk to my doctor. I was on my knees praying, talking to God, very distraught and God spoke to me. I remembered a few years back when my endocrinologist thought I may have thyroid cancer and he sent me to the cancer center in Goshen for a biopsy and how kind everyone was. How soothing they were. So I called them, and I ended up speaking to Andrea at the Woman's Retreat. Andrea was so kind!!! She helped me so much! She scheduled me the next available appointment to get a diagnostic mammogram, she was very comforting. I went in and they gave me the results right then. Praise the good Lord above that is was just a Lymphnode. I will never go anywhere other than the Woman's retreat for my mammograns. You don't get your regular mammogram results immediately, but you do get your diagnostic immediately. They don't want you suffering with uncertainties. In a situation like that it's nice to have people who act like they care and want the best for you, that your health matters, that's what I recieved at The Woman's Retreat in Goshen. I'm sorry for anyone who has any type of cancer, everyone's health is important, everyone should matter, that's the work ethic I recieved at The Woman's Retreat.

Very Great people to work with, Derek listened to my dreams without talking Greek, if I didn't understand what it meant, he explained it to me. Then he built my system. It is just like their name, FANTASTIC. It runs a 20,000 hen barn, plus our house for 2 and a half month, and the generator never had to run, great job Derek
Jen does a perfect job every time! She takes her time to get the details just right, and unlike all the times I've been unhappy with my bangs after going to other salons, I always love my cut when she does it. She's knowledgeable, professional, and I always have fun seeing her!

Scheduled a consult for my teenager for a color correction (Bleach job gone wrong!) We discussed time, cost, and upkeep of the final desired look. We then scheduled a color correction appointment and hair cut. Day of Libby was ready to go and so nice and professional. We had decided on a cut first and then bringing lowlights in to break up the bleached area. The final result was darker and spottier than anticipated. Libby was unsatisfied but my teen thought it was ok because we were going to use a pink semi permanent color over it anyway. Upon strand testing at home she discovered it was not the result wshe wanted. We text Libby with our test results and asked what to do next. She suggested we come in the next morning and she would work on correcting the color and patchiness in between other clients. I am happy to say that the treatment she used worked wonderfully and my daughter left feeling fantastic! We will definitely be booking again, and highly recommend Colorful Hair Studio!

The owner was so nice and explained everything to me about doing a spray tan for the first time, including the different solutions, levels, and everything else. The whole environment felt very safe and it was a great experience! Plus the tan is incredible, I’ve gotten so many compliments, and it looks extremely natural. I will definitely be returning!

Our AC went out during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. Called Dave & he came out same day. The AC is a VERY old unit that most would have said it needs replaced. He was able to create a fix & had it running for us immediately. A part needed replaced that he didn’t have on hand, so he made a temporary fix until he could come back the next day to replace it with a different part. He didn’t want us going without AC. He was honest, fair, & genuinely cared. Will definitely call him again in the future if anything comes up. Thank you, Dave!
So thankful I was referred to these guys to address a failed pump from my basement bathroom. They came out the same-day and promptly replaced the pump and corrected a disconnected valve. Would recommend to a friend.

I called and left a message looking for an emergency electrician not realizing they dont do residential. I got a call back within half an hour. The gentleman explained they do not do residential and gave me the numbers of 2 other places that may help.I really appreciated that gesture. He could've just ignored the message.

We have used this company for years and always received great service, reasonable prices, and cleaner carpets. Today my wife and I woke up to wet carpets in the basement from hard rains yesterday. I reached out to Tysons, they were here within an hour (on a Sunday no less), they vacuumed the water , set up fans, and only charged me a very small bill. I WOULD HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE NEEDING THEIR CARPET CLEANED, FLOORS SCRUBBED OR ANY OF THEIR SERVICES!!!
Several years ago we had a bathroom remodel with Matt. We are still in awe of his work. He removed our tub and installed a walk-in shower and a taller toilet. He had to move the drain for the shower and blocked the walls for 3 grab bars. This was for “aging in place” little knowing that 2 knee replacements were soon to come. Also, last fall Don replaced a screen and storm door. He did an awesome job. We turn to Bail because we know their work is done right the first time and because we trust them.
J L Construction has the care and integrity to make a difference in there customers lives. Had storm damage to our roof and had a huge hole. Called another contractor that said we will take care of it don't worry. Ed at Pro Roofing never showed, even after 2 phone calls and empty promises.Was flying out on a vacation called Jeff and his awesome team. Came out the next day did the repairs and now we are relaxing on vacation. Thank you Jeff, you are huge blessing to our family.

Saw Dr Neil Kelly for my boxers annual check up and vaccines. Always very kind with the animals I have and my son's as well.
When my cat Ruby had a sudden seizure last year, they accepted her into the clinic as a new patient without missing a beat. Saw her same day and helped calm me down about my fears as well. Since then, they have been absolutely wonderful in helping diagnose and treat her thyroid & arthritis issues. Ruby is very opinionated about going to the vet and doesn't make it easy! However, Dr. Ryan is wonderfully patient and is always willing to talk things through and answer every question. And the office ladies & techs are, without question, some of the kindest hearts in the area. Prices are very reasonable!
I'll never take my pets anywhere else.

Super helpful staff! Fantastic physical therapists the guide you through healing. I had a pinched nerve from thinning discs in my neck that persist for 17 months. And now I'm finally getting relief can sleep better and don't have that daily persistent pain. Can't wait to get back to fishing and playing golf!
