I have a C9orf72 pathogenic mutation which causes frontotemporal degeneration / dementia and ALS. I started having symptoms in 2019 when I got lost driving home. About 2 years ago I developed a stutter and found that my brain seemed cloudy. It became exhausting to talk and to listen to people - took a lot of effort to process.
