“I was visiting a family member in rural Louisiana, when I missed a step and took a spill. I immediately knew I wrecked my ankle, but decided to wait until we came home to get it checked out, hopeful that it was just a bad sprain. I was able to schedule an appointment first thing in the morning, when I returned three days later, at Wellnow and complete all my registration from my sofa. The level of care I received from Dr. Schnell, the front desk, my nurse (Karia) and the x-ray tech (unfortunately, I don’t recall her name) was top notch! Turns out I fractured my fibula, but I was in and out in about an hour, soft-casted and with enough information to initiate follow-up care. Every one was extremely nice and knowledgeable, and made an otherwise not-so-great situation, a very pleasant experience (especially on my wallet vs. an E.R. bill!). Highly recommend them for your immediate care needs! Thanks to all and keep up the good work!“

“Took my son because he was sneezing up a storm and was covid negative. Booking was easy and once I got there signed in and was seen by the tech within 5 minutes. After an initial work up we sat outside in the lobby and waited about 10mins to see the nurse practitioner. Nurse practitioner was knowledgeable and kind. Was in and out in about 30 mins. Overall great experience.“

“I was really nervous going in. General healthcare as a trans individual can be pretty scary... Luckily, the NP that helped me out, Jerusha, was incredibly sweet, understanding, and helped me get the medication I needed!“
“My Son had pink eye and we had to wait past our appointment but nonetheless they prescribed my Son drops and it went away. My insurance had no copay. I would definitely go again for something minor.“
“My husband had his ears flushed this afternoon at 2:45 from a very, nice, understanding woman working in the clinic. We really appreciated her concern. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for immediate help with their health. Once again 4 thumbs up for the nice clinic worker. Keep up the good work.“

“They are wonderful, from start to finish. One employee who really stands out is Ameer. He has done all of my Covid tests and he seriously is amazing---friendly, efficient, helpful, and really cares. He even called me after hours to give me the results of my test. Southwest Urgent Care is truly lucky to have Ameer!“

“The NP could not do enough for me. I had been dealing with a bad cold that refused to go away. When I finally went to urgent care, the stated wait time was 3 hours. However, I was seen in less than half of that. The NP still spent time with me, not rushing, and did a thorough exam. She then had me stay for a breathing treatment and came back in afterwards to see if my lungs sounded better. She sent my prescriptions over to my pharmacy immediately. The standard of care was excellent.“

“I came in during the morning hours in severe pain and vomiting. The wait was quite long but it’s an emergency room and I think that’s to be expected. The issue I had was presenting atypically and I am very grateful that the emergency room physicians, while maybe a little reluctant, believed my concerns and investigated further because I ended up having emergency surgery the same day. While they’re not perfect, I’m grateful for the care I received.The diagnostic team was comforting and professional.My surgical team was amazing and one of the nurses (Kameron) I had during my stay was also stellar and attentive.“
