“I initially visited Dr. Richert last Spring out of curiosity. I don't have any serious health complaints. Since going, I have lost 20 lb., and I feel like I have more energy. I got the needed momentum also to make changes to my diet and begin looking into mindfulness practices. The cost of the program is substantial, but he was very upfront about it, and I would encourage others to go for it. Here is what to expect, if you are on the fence about doing this. He had me fill out a lengthy questionnaire about all aspects of my physical and mental health, my complaints and goals, then followed up in a lengthy interview. He prescribed at-home clinical tests of my stress hormones, my gut and my other hormones. Based on all of this information he prescribed various rounds of supplements to shore up those systems. The effects of these supplements are subtle, but real and accumulate with time.“

“After I got Covid my legs did not work like they used to, they hurt, they were slow, I was sad. My hamstrings and calves felt like they aged 40 years and weighed 40 pounds. I turned to Rudy to help me and he fixed my legs! And now he is helping me with mood. I highly recommend him. He truly wants to help you. He’s kind, honest and reasonably priced. He is a true healer. This is the key word here: healer. Full story below.Immediately upon meeting Rudy I liked his presence, he has a zen-bro approach to connecting, he’s skilled at listening and talk back therapy as good as any therapist I went to. He’s a chiropractor but he doesn’t do “adjustments” like traditional chiropractors every session, he’s more like your own personal supplement coach, he finds the right mix of supplements to fix your pain/health issue in addition to diet modifications. One week I would take maybe 6 supplements and take dairy out of my diet, the next another set of supplements and focus on eating cruciferous vegetables. During his hour-long sessions I would smell different supplements then run down the hallway and see if my hamstrings felt better or worse. I kept an open mind to all of his techniques. The first few weeks were up and down, I might get a little better, then I’d go back to where I started, then maybe a slight bump up but then back down. But something positive was happening, Rudy insisted I be patient and reiterated there would be ups and downs and setbacks. Then about 8 weeks into his therapy something changed: I ran 7 days straight, I hadn’t done that since Covid months ago. Real progress. Something was happening everyday a little better, a little faster, smoother cadence, less pain in my hamstrings, more power. Lets try a fast mile, that went well, okay the next day let’s try two miles fast, that went pretty well too and then it all started to click again, the cadence, the bounce, the power, it was happening I was running again! If you have a specific pain or health issue Rudy might be the guy for you, he was for me.“

“I had a very pleasant visit today at ChiroMend. The registration people, Hannah and Gisel, were both so cordial and accommodating. Joe, who did my massage was extra good and knows well the exact points of my back that need a good massage. Last but not least, the best Chiro Dr I ever met and had, was Dr Gonzales. He was very thorough in his interview regarding my health issues and he even went through all my medication and my supplements.Dr Mendoza conducted a full body exam to determine the inflamed areas of my body. “After over a year of challenges with my health related to my digestive system I was feeling frustrated and hopeless. I spent so much time in and out of doctors offices including specialists having one test after another completed (ultrasounds, MRIs, colonoscopies, endoscopies, and more). I was in constant pain and discomfort and eventually had my gall bladder removed on the recommendation of more than one medical professional hoping that would provide some resolution. Unfortunately, it seemed things only got worse. I had all but given up hope when I decided to try a new approach and discovered Nicholas Palumbo of Lakeside Digestion. In our first session he made a very important connection to my past childhood trauma and what was going on inside my gut, specifically my colon. From there, he made suggestions of what could help. Over the course of a couple of months I put his suggestions into practice and started to feel better. The daily bloating and discomfort I was consistently experiencing started to dissipate. My sleep has improved. And my overall mood is so much better because I am feeling so much better. Do note, that it's important that you are willing to show up, make an effort, and actually put in the work if you want to see results. I am grateful for my experience with Lakeside Digestion and will return if I feel I need the support again.“

“I found The Perfect Workout in my search for improving my bone health. I was told by my doctor that I needed to be on prescriptions for my early stage osteoporosis. When I read about the side effects, I knew that these drugs were scary. I researched looking for other healthy options. I found a site that Dr McGuff authored a book called Body By Science. It explained that weight training, low impact and low resistance was the way to improve strengthen my muscles and bones improving my upper body. Wow, they even asked you to put in the state you lived in and shared where to find sources to train you in this area. There was Northbrook, right where I live!!! I was so glad and followed up with The Perfect Workout and went in to see. I have always been active walking 2 miles a day for years, but never had much upper body challenges to strengthen me. The Perfect Workout has a workout that fits my lifestyle and that is doable for me. The trainer is very knowledgeable about the goals I wanted to attain, he also is knowledgeable on nutrition and ways to improve that. It is early as I have only been doing this for a month, but am confident that I am on the right path for success!! I would heartily recommend anyone to go and check this place out. I am so excited that I did!!!“

“Meeting Lauren for our first session was the highlight of my week & each session since has been exactly the same.I loathe working out, I do not have a history of nutrition or physical activity--for a very short stunt of time years ago, I frequented LA Fitness for personal training & bemoaned the arrival of each session. I am a moderately anxious, depressive mother of 2 & Lauren does what not even myself can do: she makes me feel good. She makes me strong! She makes me peer toward the future of the possibility--no, plausibility--of being good & strong!I look forward to our sessions each week & I look forward to seeing her.
