Results 22

Weight and self image was always a huge issue for me. I was a victim of my own self, always comparing myself to my brothers (who were always much better at sports and always in much better shape) and telling myself I'm lesser than because I don't look like them. Food became a solace from all of the issues I had going on in my life, and I just always kept telling myself "I'm not worth it" and diets never worked for me so I would always end up giving up and going back to my unhealthy lifestyle.

My dad told me about Results22, and I thought it would just be another failed diet program where I'd hate what I was eating and I'd just be suffering in order to make myself feel better. I wasn't excited about it one bit, no matter how much I said I was. But I knew that I had to make a change in my life, because I knew where I was at was not going to cut it anymore.

At the start of 2022, I was over 220 lbs. Now, 9 months later and 3 months into maintenance, I'm sitting comfortable at 166. The change has been drastic, but the biggest change was how I viewed myself. Not how I look in the mirror (although dropping weight and feeling better about how i look physically is definitely an amazing side effect), but how I look mentally and emotionally. Now, I'm my own person free of comparison. I don't concern myself with how other people look or how I think people look at me, because that's not something I can control. I go out to restaurants when I feel like it or over indulge sometimes, but I am comfortable doing that because I know what it takes to lose weight if I put it on.

The biggest change was my change in psychology. I always thought it was a game of calories and a number on a scale. Through Results22, the part that changed my life was the coaching. Anybody can follow a diet plan that says "Eat this, not that", but what really makes the change happen is being vulnerable and accepting that you have so much more control over your lifestyle than you think. The coaching and support from Ed and team was what helped me find my own confidence to lose weight, keep it off, but most importantly become comfortable in my own skin and giving me control over my life.

I can't thank them enough for giving me the tools I never knew that I needed to change my life for good.

This says it all, when I started working with Ed, my blood pressure was as high as 150/90. Now my BP is 117/80 without any medication.
