We came into our private training lessons with Jenn overwhelmed with our reactive and highly distractible Pyrenees Bobbi. Our previous training gave us a foundation for basics but was not helping us or Bobbi with her reactivity and excitement around other dogs. Jenn patiently worked with us and Bobbi and since the completion of our training Bobbi has steadily improved her calmness around other dogs and attentiveness towards us on walks. Months ago we couldn't even think about walking past another dog on the same sidewalk because Bobbi would jump at any dog she saw, not to be aggressive, but to play. She would lock onto dogs across the street and lay down which was frustrating when we were trying to walk her on a time crunch, she pulled like a freight train even with corrective harnesses, and would completely ignore us. Jenn gave us the tools to manage these issues and now we don't dread walks anymore. She is much more attentive to us, and mostly ignores dogs that are across the street or farther away, which is insane considering she used to lay down for dogs a block away from us. Jenn gave us some redirection tools that allow us to easily re-route her now when we see potential issues with other dogs arise, and we have also gotten her pulling much more under control. If Jenn and Wen were able to help us and our crazy pup, I'm confident they can help you as well!“

She went above and beyond, showing genuine care, compassion, and understanding—not just for me, but for my dog too. Even though I ultimately didn’t go with this hospital because family was able to step in, Heather left such a strong impression that I will definitely consider Preiser in the future because of her. The staff and the pets there are truly lucky to have someone like her. Thank you, Heather, for being such a kind and caring human.“

2926 W Lake St, Chicago“While Jesse helped us make progress on our pup’s behavioral issues and overprotectiveness, what I think we appreciate most is how much better we can communicate with our gal. We understand *how* she thinks. Jesse is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to break down how each word and action is interpreted by our dog. Now, our communication with our pup is clearer, she’s happier and less frustrated, we can read situations and anticipate actions. She can have more freedom and independence. Our bond and our trust is stronger in each other.
Struggles with resource guarding and even darting after squirrels is less and less as we continue to use the tools Jesse has shared. And we have the skills to apply to many situations which is empowering.
We are so happy to have found the crew at Canine Perspective. They are all warm, attentive, and most importantly, great at what they do! Jesse was great with answering tons of specific questions in sessions and over email. He had solutions to all the behavioral roadblocks wed hit after other training programs.
It’s been so rewarding and such a relief. So many folks think that your dog will never be an off-leash dog, or that you just have to live with reactivity, avoiding certain situations. Jesse proves that, if you put in the work and understand your dog, that does not have to be the case. Thank you! What a gift to have his talent and this uniquely-structured daycare in Chicago.
Can't wait to get her on one of your treadmills!“

1000 E Central Rd, Arlington Heights“We started going to March recently. We have cats and dogs and have already been here several times.
So far we are really happy here. The front desk people are always friendly. The vet techs are always kind to our pets and knowledgeable. We have seen more of Dr. Sheridan in our appointments. I think because he is newer to the practice but I don't believe he's a new vet. He's very knowledgeable. He's also to the point and explains things thoroughly.
Great experience at March so far. I would say their prices are in line for what things cost in Arlington Heights. Nothing is cheap here, but I would say the prices are what I would expect.“

2975 Milwaukee Ave, Northbrook“I used to work as a receptionist for a dog daycare, so I've had to talk to different vets all the time all over Chicago. Now, no longer a receptionist and I have my own puppy; Preiser was one of my top 3 to go to. I HIGHLY recommend, they have a wonderful staff and receptionists. The nurses are so kind, and treated my puppy with so much love. Like, I'm pretty sure my dog loves the vet now. They helped refer me to a specialist and helped me make sure she got the best care. Pricing wasn't terrible at all. The doctor called me personally to discuss my dog which I thought was really thoughtful. Also the lobby is so cute, and welcoming. Sometimes lobbies at vets can be rough, like they can smell, be dirty, have strange colors, and have uncomfortable chairs... but not here. It's so cute and cozy, the sun shines in, there are magazines, comfy sheets, and so much space if you have an uneasy or aggressive pet that needs space from other pets. Also I have to point out that all the plants have their own names it's adorable“

5500 N Western Ave, Chicago“We’ve learned so much from Kim about how to improve obedience with our dog, Penny, along with ways to stimulate her mind as an active herding dog mix. We took her group basic obedience class, which helped Penny practice her listening skills with distractions, and Kim has been very generous with her time, helping us troubleshoot issues even years after we took her class.“
7:30AM - 6PM
2851 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago“My cat Georgie had his first appointment with this vet today, and to say I am impressed would be an understatement!
Dr Mueller has to be one of the best vets I have ever interacted with. He was so sweet to my Georgie, and so reassuring to me (despite my intense health anxiety around my cat). I immediately felt like I could trust him, which has not been the case with other practices I’ve visited in the past. He is definitely in the right line of work!
The vet techs were equally as sweet and knowledgeable. They were very reassuring to my cat and I - I even saw him slow blinking at the tech that was restraining him a few times!
Some reviews note that this place can be pricy, but honestly, I felt like pricing was very transparent and on par with what veterinary care costs these days. I think I have finally found my forever vet in Chicago!“

“The place is amazing! People are so nice and very friendly! I took a cat, I found in my backyard to see if she is chipped, so I can find her owner - Companion people were above and beyond. I am very thankful for them that they are part of Norridge community.“
