“OK here it goes. My dog was 13 years old. He had a cyst on his spleen, I took him in. They diagnosed it right away, gave me my options. He was very candid about the situation, which I thoroughly respected him for doing so.!! They all were very professional, helping me put my dog down give us a plaque of his paw, print and sent flowers the next day.!! “Critter Clinic is an amazing place to take your pup. The knowledge,compassion,and flexibility has been incredible to say the least. They have always taken great care of each pet that I had. My baby of 16 years had to be euthanized January 2ns, 2024. It has been a very hard and miserable journey saying goodbye. I know that Lilo is now in a better place and pain free. Thanks to all the staff at Critter Clinic for their compassion and empathy. I still have one pup left and I can say with certainty that I will continue using Critter Clinic for all my pets needs. “I brought a feral neighborhood cat to Ewing Veterinarian Hospital. The cat had been slowly showing signs of ill health over the winter months. He would hide at the sight of a human but was so sick he gradually initiated contact and petting in a desperate desire for help. I was able to scoop him up and put him in a cat carrier and take him to the vet. The veterinarian, Dr. Weatherer, was swift and accurate in his diagnosis which shockingly, was diabetes. It will be a long road back to health for this cat but Dr. Weatherer has shown a great deal of compassion in his willingness to assist in getting the cat back on the cat back on the road to a good life once again. This vet is devoted to his practice and our animals.“

“I feel so grateful we were referred to Intermountain Pet Hospital on Chinden Rd. From the very first interaction on the phone and every in-person encounter, I was so impressed. Several clean and roomy exam rooms are a plus, but it was the interaction of every person with both our dogs that made us sure we found the right vet for us.Each person was so kind, patient and respectful with our rescue puppy as well as our older dog (who we were told we could absolutely bring along just so he could become familiar with the clinic.)We have never been to a "fear free" clinic before and while we don't have anxious pets, all animals deserve to be met at their eye level if possible and given time to adjust which is exactly what happened during our first visit.Beyond that, Dr. Scott's communication with me was just as satisfying. I was shown the canine pain scale for the first time ever despite going to three different vets since moving to Idaho 18 years ago as well as given the opportunity to make informed choices about the options available which included going to another Intermountain Clinic if we preferred.Finally, we were communicated with by both text and phone call before and after our dog's surgery and sent in depth surgical summary.The only thing I missed was a phone call to check in on our pup the next day (which our old vet always did) but when I called with a question, I got great support.Our puppy is recovering well from her surgery which included a larger than expected hernia repair.We feel very lucky to have found the Chinden Intermountain Pet Hospital and Dr. Scott. We may even look into the acupuncture she offers someday.“

Our female had a bad experience once and has been really skittish about getting her nails trimmed. “This specific review is long overdue. I went back in May and meant to write one then and forgot, then was without my phone as mentioned in another review and yeah...ugh. Glad I can write one now tho. Lemme tell you about this place, more specifically the guy who has the patience of a fn saint lol. His name is Jordan. One of the most kick back, super chill guys one could ever have the privilege of meeting. I used to take my last yorkie to a guy named Kelly. Kelly was amazing and did wonders on my lil man which was great because Frankie was pretty much hairless. So the little hair he had, Kelly knew exactly what to do to make him even more perfect. So when I got Alfie, I automatically assumed I'd be going back to Kelly. However, he's was out in Star and if you've lived here or are from here you know for a small(er)-ish city, the traffic sucks ballllllssss!!!Kelly used to work at a place right by my house. So I figured since him being far and next to impossible to get an appointment with, I'd go back to this spot and that's where I met Jordan. Low key, I'm glad Jordan left there and moved to the Downtown Doodle in Eagle. I couldn't stand the owner of the previous place and Jordan is way too nice and WAY too talented to put up with that person and their crazy ass lolJordan is great for many reasons but one major reason being, you can tell he loves what he does. He's amazing with my little guy, Alfie and Alfie can drive me fn insane at home some times hahaha, so I can only imagine how he could be at a groomers. Alfie is used to 2 people. Myself and my roommate. That's all on me, too. Working on socializing him more. He's not aggressive towards others, he's just weary of them lol.Jordan says he's ok whiles he's there so ima just take his word on that haha! Jordan, as mentioned as the patience of a saint and I guess you'd have to to be a groomer. He does an unbelievably perfect job on Alfie every time Alfie goes to him. This time around, I had him give Alfie a mustache to match his dad for Movember. Alfies mustache is better than mine haha! Jordan is the real deal. I wish he could remain a secret hahaha because he's so good, but guys as great as Jordan deserve all the best clients he could get because of who he is and because of the job he does with out (furry) kids and because of his love for dogs.Price is around $50 for a yorkie. Not sure for bigger dogs. I'm a cheap bitch so my chest sinks every time, but again, me -- super cheap fker hahahah! I might get cut off here soon so I'll wrap this up. Check this place out. If Jordan isn't available...GOOD! Haha nah, I'm kidding lol. If he isn't available, I trust any other groomer he works with would do a great job as well. Also HUGE bonus, this place isn't Petsmart or Petco or some random chain groomer. Petsmart shouldn't be allowed to have groomers. They should just cut toenails on dogs. That's it lol.Ok. That's it, Yelperdogs! Jordan's great and consider yourself lucky if/when he becomes your kids groomer. You'll be super satisfied and your dogs will love him too. Cheers!“
