My girlfriend and I are new to the area, and I needed a new barber, so I looked around and found the Clipper’s Edge. I saw a lot of good reviews and the haircuts looked identical to what I was looking for.
I just finished my haircut up with Jess, and she simply did a 10/10 job not only the haircut, but she was extremely personable and nice. It’s like I’ve been a client of her’s for 5+ years, which is really saying something.
I was extremely satisfied with the haircut and price, and couldn't recommend Jess enough! I will 100% be back in the future!
Have used American Turf & Beauty for the last 8 years for their yearly lawn treatment program and irrigation start ups/winterization. Always on time with treatments, great communication from their office and technicians are all very friendly. Fairly priced with plenty of other services as well! Would highly recommend for any of your lawn care needs.

I went to Dreamy after stumbling across them online, and was looking to get some simple but cute holiday nails done. It was one of the best experiences I have had at a nail salon! The technician was extremely friendly (other places barely talk to me since I am not a regular) who was very enthusiastic and patient assisting me to select my colors (I always had felt rushed at other places). She was incredibly attentive and would correct anything that didn’t look quite right. Thank you for making me feel valued and making my nails look great! ❤️

Had McGough Glass install a glass door in our new built home a couple years ago and every single time we call with a question or concern there on it. It has been a great shower door not cheap and flimsy looking. We’re beyond happy with the glass and customer service! I would recommend them over and over any time someone has a glass need! Jason (I believe his name was) understood exactly what I wanted and gave me a phenomenal experience and styling in just about 20 minutes, for just about $22 (without a tip — tip your barbers!)The ease and quality of this visit was one that made me appreciate the Midwest even when back on the east coast.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, so I was pleasantly surprised when the whole process worked out so seamlessly. Amy is quick to respond, easy to book time with, great at explaining all of the options (and aftercare instructions), selecting the right tan option for my event and skin type, and makes me feel welcome, appreciated, and comfortable. This was the BEST pedicure I’ve ever had. They take their time on massaging the legs and feet, took time in painting toes and very relaxed setting. It didn’t feel like my time there was rushed at all. I will definitely be back.

This was the first time I’ve had a pedicure. The spa was bright and clean. The pedicurist was very quiet but extremely gentle and thorough. She worked methodically and efficiently. She did an excellent job with the soothing calf and foot lotion rub down. I would recommend Eden’s. This was my first pedicure but it definitely won’t be my last!

Nelly, lash extension aesthetician, examined my last eyelash procedure, and proposed a change that would give me more volume to scarce lashes. Her attention to detail was superb— as to the cleaning of my lashes before the fill, and her eye for uplifting my initial process with more volume was very much appreciated. This is a place you may want to check out one — that invest in your you and not just your money.

Georgia Bell from Art of Life was incredible! She listened to my vision for my wedding hair and then exceeded my expectations with her craft. She was such a calming presence and fun to have around on the morning of, which really helped to mitigate my stress. My hair stayed perfectly in place all day, even through all the pouring rain! She even helped me out to my car with an umbrella after my appointment so I didn’t get drenched. Super talented and a genuinely kind human being. Highly recommend!

I have had the beautiful bubbly Hannah as my nail tech for well over 4 years now and still to this day I cannot thank her enough for saving my nails. I was a nail biter and she managed to get me out of that nasty habit with motivation and excessive maintenance, now I have long natural nails and I cannot see myself going back to my old ways ever again. I highly recommend her to save your nails if in need

This was my first time at this salon. It’s been a while since I had a haircut and I was a little nervous. I have long, thick, curly hair and due to an illness last year, I lost a lot of hair. It literally fell out a clumps and became very dry and brittle.
I saw Kate and she was wonderful. The cut gave my hair new life. She gave me lots of advice on products and things I can do to help my hair get healthy again. It was rejuvenating and therapeutic experience. I’ll definitely be going back.

We've been in our new home for just over a month now and we LOVE it!!! Don was our 3rd builder...meaning we tried with two other companies that assured us that they could build a house we could afford. After paying for blueprints, neither house was close to the cost we were originally given. With Don, we didn't have that issue. He was up front about all the potential costs. We also got more with our house plan from Don than we would have from the other two builders AND we paid less in the long run. We also appreciated that we didn't have to use the exact house plans that were initially shown to us. We were able to change them to fit what we wanted. We are very happy that we went with Homes by Brill!

We have been absolutely thrilled with the results that we have seen after having Cyclone Pest Management come out and start spraying biannually. About 3 years ago I gave them a call and Rick came out to our house to take a look at our wasp and spider situation. Within a few weeks we saw outstanding results. In order to stay on top of our our wasp and spider problem we have Rick come out once or twice a year. He is a very knowledgeable guy with a friendly personality. I would definitely recommend him and his services to anyone.

My wife and I moved back to Des Moines a year ago and were looking for a place to establish dental care. We have been extremely pleased with the exceptional service we have received at Solace Dental. The staff is kind and eager to help. The intake process is seamless and their hours of operation are very convenient for someone who has to schedule later in the day such as myself. Dr. Skinner and his team are a joy to work with.

I've been seeing Dr. Trung Phan for a few years now, and up until recently had only ever been seen at one dental office. When Dr. Trung moved his practice, there was no hesitation to move with him, even if it meant a slightly further drive for me. The professionals at Northpark Dental are just that; very professional. Dr. Trung is very personable and makes it a point to remember details about his patients, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. He is very thorough and makes sure to explain exactly what he is doing or planning to do, and ensures that his patients have zero discomfort during their visit. The new office in Urbandale is bright and clean and very inviting, as well as very easy to get to (right off of I-80, next to Texas Roadhouse). I would recommend Dr. Trung and his peers at Northpark Dental to anyone in need of a dentist. 5 stars, because I can't give them more. :)

DR. Erickson and Dr. Krebel are awesome Dentists and do very high quality work. Went to another dentist before and they cracked teeth during a removal and it was painful. My neice referred me. Pain free procedures. His teeth cleaning person is great. You can barely feel her shots!!!! Wish he would move to Arkansas!!!!

Started @ Ervin Chiropractic several years ago bc I would have debilitating back pain from time to time. My husband & I thought it was bc of our bed - but since being treated and keeping monthly maintenance appointments, back pain is rare and quickly manageable . My husband then began seeing Dr. Ervin and now our daughter is, too.
Once we brought our son in with an earache (in the past he would usually need antibiotics to recover) -after a specific adjustment, the pain went away without medication!!
Doctor Ervin is always friendly, efficient and professional! The staff are also friendly and flexible . Recently voted best in the metro!! Five stars!

Dr. DeVries and her team are knowledgeable, compassionate, timely, and communicate well. Dr. DeVries always is patient answering questions and talking through options with me. I trust her completely. The office is upfront about pricing, is great about scheduling, and the vet techs have been awesome about helping my dog with mobility issues. I feel my dogs are in good hands.
I highly recommend this vet clinic. I have used Westside as our primary pet care for over 10 years now. Dr. Janssen has very gentle bedside manner that puts my dogs at easy. He is patient and always takes the time required to answer all my questions. His staff are also friendly and have gone out of their way to ensure that I was able to meet my pet’s needs.
I bring my mini dachshund here, and Dr.Pam and her staff are incredible! They are reliable, trustworthy, reasonably priced, and bonus that my little pup loves them. Definitely recommend them!

I have had shoulder problems for years and have spent thousands on PT and Dr visits with no relief. A couple sessions with Ryan I am able to move my arms again and have range of motion. Super knowledgeable and felt like he cared. His goal wasn't to schedule more sessions but to graduate to no needing sessions.
I met Lily Hou, yoga instructor, at the West Des Moines Chapter of American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) March 20, 2014 meeting. Lily spoke about stress management and yoga.I started individual weekly yoga classes in April 2014. Lily taught me the correct way to move into yoga poses, hold it, and gradually go deeper into the pose, so not to hurt myself. My flexibility, strength and balance have improved greatly over the last 8 years. Yoga also helped improve my bone density.
I have mixed feelings about posting this review. On one hand, Malia absolutely deserves all the praise because this was hands down the BEST MASSAGE I’ve ever had! On the other hand, I’m a bit selfish and still want to be able to book an appointment with her!
Let me share all the little things that made this an exceptional experience. First, Malia has a very detailed intake form that covers everything from your preferred music, level of conversation, massage technique, and pressure. She tailors the massage exactly to your preferences. For instance, I usually don’t like to talk during a massage, but she’s so engaging. I found myself chatting away, and she would politely respond and then guide me back to focusing on my breathing and relaxation, just as I requested on the intake form.
Secondly, I’m not sure why all massage therapists haven’t invested in padding for their tables, but Malia has, and it feels like lying on a cloud. The room is dark and quiet, except for the background sound of your choice. Since she has her own space, you don’t hear conversations from other therapists and clients, which can be distracting when you’re trying to relax.
Finally, Malia has great energy. She is passionate about her work, and it shows from the moment you meet her!
I hope you enjoyed this review, but please, I beg you, leave me some appointments with her! She’s a rare find, and I don’t want to share her too much! Just kidding. Kinda.

I scheduled a reflexology appointment and Christine was wonderful! The atmosphere was so relaxing and cozy. By the time I left, I felt like I could sleep for days! I will definitely be going back!

Easy to book online. Was professionally greeted by a uniformed massage therapist. I was taken to a dimly lit, clean room and given a euphoric, deep tissue massage. This was the first time a massage left me unsteady on my feet. I can only imagine the toxins released into my bloodstream after such a great massage. I had to sit in the car for a few minutes before I drove. No hanky panky, just a great massage. I highly recommend!
