The West Side Vet family and Dr.Jansen are wonderful! We never feel rushed and they try to accommodate us whenever we have an emergent issue. The place is always clean and the staff is very quick to respond to prescription requests etc. This is a truly special place and we are lucky to have to found them!
I can't find the words to describe the care the entire team at West Side Vet clinic show to their pets and owners. I brought my pup in 5 years ago when I relocated to Des Moines. From day 1, they were kind, compassionate, caring, and informative. Through 2 unfortunate diagnosis, Doc was informative and involved. I could walk in or call and they knew I was calling about Cooley! As the final time came, to make that very incredibly hard decision, they all put me at ease and provided every option. We absolutely love West Side Veterinary Clinic. The nurses and Vet are all so sweet, remembering each animal by name and make time to see everyone in a timely manor. We have been going here for over 10 years, even though we moved farther away, we don't mind traveling the extra distance for such a wonderful Vet for our dog, Sammy.
