“We live in Urbandale. In December 2025, due to severe winds a significant amount of shingles on our roof were blown off, many others damaged. I immediately contacted Smart Roofing, Sam sent Luis to our home. Luis immediately tarped the area of significant shingle loss and secured all other loose shingles. Sam followed up the next day with an overall assessment and photos. I’m an inquiring person, want to be thorough. My conversation with Sam was excellent.

I contacted our insurer, Liberty Mutual. It dispatched a damage inspector…who commented the tarp and shingle securing was excellent…and in a couple of days, Liberty advised it agreed with the damage assessment; complete tear-off and replacement necessary. Upon my agreement with Liberty, Smart Roofing met with us, we selected shingle color and Sam’s crew began their work. The project consumed two days for completion. The entire crew was courteous, friendly, and wanted to be certain to not interfere with home and garage entrances. Work close-out and yard cleanup was superb. Sam met with us to review their work, provided photos of work-in-progress and completion, wanting to ensure our satisfaction. We are 100% satisfied… Liberty Mutual was too.
