The main reason I chose heads up salon 15+ years ago was because they were one of a few salons doing Japanese straight perms on the island, and Amber happened to be one of the very few stylists proficient in the process. The straight perm was great, but a lengthy process. Then Amber introduced me to the Brazilian blowout when it was still new, and I've been loving the natural look of it ever since. I can wash and go without having to flat iron. Flat iron would give the look of a Japanese straight perm. Best of both worlds. She recently switched to a new product for the blowout. This review is for the amazing hairstylist AMBER! Been seeing Amber for a few months now and initially she had cut my sons hair. Gave him a nice fade and line up. I'm not into the fancy styles the kids have these days but she hooks it up every time with a clean comb over fade. For me I've dyed my hair so much my ends was horrible. She got rid of that heavy yucky dead weight and hooked me up with some lite layers that was manageable for me (straight up I'm lazy to style my hair these days lol) If you're looking for a clean facility that takes care of their shop with proper sanitizing , go to Heads Up Salon.
