I’ve been on Maui now for 4 years. In that time I’ve had 4 barbers at various locations. Through my experience it’s been a challenge to find a consistent, professional barber. I’m a business owner so my free time is limited. For the past year now Kawai has been my barber. He has kept every one of his appointments. I see him every 3 weeks. I appreciate that consistency. The quality of his cuts are unmatched, i appreciate his professionalism, and his overall vibe. 10/10 recommend Kawai for your next barber.

This place and the people are great. I made the mistake of trying another nail salon out of convenience recently and I regretted it immediately. This is the only place my daughters and I will get our nails done from now on.
I was on my honeymoon vacation in Maui when my nail broke, and I was so worried it would ruin my vacation look. I walked into this salon without an appointment, and they welcomed me right away. The nail tech was so kind and fixed my chipped nail perfectly—it looked flawless and matched the rest of my nails beautifully. I left so happy knowing my vacation nails were saved. First time to Maui and I had planned to treat myself out to a pedicure (also a first! Lol) and pink chrome nails with four fingers having designs. I was a walk-in probably waited 15 to 20 mins which for me, seemed pretty fast.
Seriously, this place is so much better than where I normally go on the Big Island (still love them). The place is comfy, relaxing, & the decor is very nice. The staff were very nice and even the customers waiting were sweet. I guess it's just the atmosphere. Was a nice welcome.
The I asked for the basic pedicure and they set me up well in the massage chair, soaked my feet. Didn't make me feel self conscious (a girl doesn't have pretty toes). The gentleman rubbed my feet and legs and made me realize how sore I was but it was great.
I had a different gentleman for my nails. He was gentle, took his time, and was patient with me when going on what I wanted and picking out the colors.

Rickelle has been doing my hair for over 15 years now. I am not an easy client. I’m indecisive and I have ideas in my head utilizing 5 different looks that she somehow pieces together and brings to life. Rickelle takes the time to listen to your desires then helps you come to a decision that suites your hair type. I swear she’s a magician! Rickelle specializes in hair but she must’ve taken a crash course in psychology as well because I always leave with the freshest hair and renewed spirit. I have been having monthly services at Evolution Salon for five years and I highly recommend them. My husband also gets great haircuts at Evolution Salon. They also have great esthetic services available.

I have worked with many electrical contractors during my career. Gary from K2 Electric is by far the best. K2 is without question a top-notch company. They were prompt, Courteous, their workmanship was impeccable and their price was reasonable and fair. I don’t normally recommend people but, in this instance case, I can say without hesitation you would not be disappointed hiring this company to do your electrical work. They are definitely top shelf.
Elcco Inc. This Building Used to Be a RoundHouse For the Kahului Railroad Trains When The Railroad was Still going In 1879 until in 1966 they stop the Railroad and replace it with truck's. And they used this building for truck's to Repair. But when the Puunene Mill Closed down in 2016. They stop using it. Now its used for this company. Cheer's oh and The Long Building By them is the Maintenance shop for trains and yes it's the Collapse Roof

Josh Landry is all these and more.With one in-person meeting and a couple pictures of our kitchen idea (the defining upgrade of the whole condo), Josh’s cabinet designer produced a glorious plantation-style which increased square footage, cabinet space, and usability. Josh navigated a couple engineering challenges with professional ease (removing 30 year old walls and cabinetry can produce surprises), coming up with great, functional solutions.Landry Construction was very responsive via their construction software, and communications were always timely. Josh’s estimate is spelled out in each category on this website so you know where you are with the costs, what you’ve paid, what products are agreed to, all communications, etc. at-a-glance.The project completed ahead of schedule. I had Tony and his team install a Fleetwood Stackable Door and remodel my kitchen. Not only is the door flawless; the new tile, countertops and cupboards look amazing! I absolutely love the outcome. This company is so great to work with. Jenni responds quickly to all of my emails and works to get answers to my questions right away. Tony and his crew kept all furniture and walkways covered to protect them & once they were done, they did a thorough final clean. They were all very friendly. A+++ Service!
Let me start by saying that my wife and I have learned to do pretty much any home projects (tiling/electrical/plumbing/etc…) because of bad experiences with contractors… A few weeks ago, I was asked by an owner to help with their water damaged condo in Kihei. I knew I could coordinate the project, but I wouldn’t have time to complete some of the work. So I decided to call 3 local companies. I was able to setup an appointment to review the project with 2 of them right away, but when I first called Kale at MD Restoration, he mentioned they might not be able to start on such a project for another month or so. As the other companies seemed to be able to get to it faster, I thanked Kale and told him I would call him back if things changed. Well, things DID change. The first company came, took a bunch of pictures, measurements, we discussed the scope of the project, but in the end, NEVER sent me a quote. I contacted them back 6 or 7 times, they said they would send me something quickly, but nope, nothing, ever. What a waste of time. The second company did send me a quote, but for only 1/2 of the work (demo only) and was not anywhere close to what the insurance had estimated, about 2-3 times the amount. When I contacted them to get a better estimate and especially one for the actual reconstruction, they wanted to charge me for their inspector to come back, even though they could have gotten all the info needed in the first place or by me sending them additional pictures. So that’s when I decided to call Kale back. By then, more than a month had passed, basically wasting my time with the other 2 companies. And suddenly, things went SMOOTHLY!!! Kale came to inspect the job, took preliminary measurements and established the scope of the project. I received a much more reasonable estimate a couple of days later. We needed to get a plumber to come in to fix some pipes first before MD would come and rebuild the condo. When the plumber was done, there were a few more things we had not originally planned, and we had added replacing the carpet in one of the room, so I asked Kale to come back to inspect everything and update the quote as needed. Within a couple days, we had everything lined up. Because the project was most likely a little smaller than anticipated, the crew was able to get started faster than planned, maybe a couple weeks after everything was agreed upon. The crew came in regularly, completing tasks without delay, the quality of the work was impeccable and even though it was most likely a smallish job for them, I was treated as if I was their number 1 customer. Before we knew it, the project was completed and the owner is delighted on how things turned out. As mentioned at the beginning of this review, I have had bad experiences with contractors in the past (including the 1 in this project that never got back with me, and by the way, it is a very large restoration company across all Hawaiian islands, not a small company with limited resources), but the experience I just had with MD was truly refreshing. I will be sure to recommend Kale and his crew to anyone looking for some remediation/construction work. Again, thank you to the whole team!!

I cannot recommend Dr. Urban highly enough. My mother was hospitalized for strokes and severe dizziness, and upon being discharged, she was unable to walk without a walker and was experiencing debilitating double vision. We were uncertain about what her recovery would look like, but Dr. Urban gave us hope.

These people have the qualifications but more than that they are kind and understanding and devoted to the well-being of the animals brought into their care, and the well-being of the humans who bring them. I wish I could say the same of the physicians, techs, and staff who treat ME at KP or MMG - I am to the point where I wish that I myself (as well as my animals) could be a patient of @home! I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else for my animal companions.

Fiancee had been dealing with neck pain as well as shoulder pain. Saw some of the reviews and said why not. Since I was dealing with elbow pain as well booked appointments for both of us.
Booking was simple. The treatment was great. Kim took care of my fiancee who hates deep tissue work but toughed it out for this session and after her session she was able to move her neck freely and without pain. She'll need more work but just from the initial session it's improved her range of motion a lot. My session was painful as expected being around the elbow joint but after it was done I could move around my elbow and hold up rotating and twisting range of motion without that nagging pain. Kim was great and understood what we were looking for and helped out a lot.
If you're looking for a solid deep tissue work try her sessions out. It doesn't hurt to try... well it will a little lol.

Came in without an appointment to work out some major tension in my neck and lower back (cervical and lumbar spinal column) from a long flight, and in 30 minutes walked out feeling totally loose and blissed out.
Erica was my practitioner, and wow she did some amazing work. I told her that my spots were my neck and lower back and she was skillful, but also I could tell she was methodically feeling out/sensing the sources of my tension and gently applying more and more pressure (checking in to make sure it was not too much).
I just came back from Thailand and Vietnam, and had some of the best massages in my life there- but Erica at Birds of Paradise Spa matched/surpassed those experiences.
So thankful… was only a 30 minute chair massage but wow did it do the trick. I usually tip 15-20%, but since this was only $50 I felt like I had to leave 40%. Can’t emphasize how therapeutically effective it was for me!
