I tend to go FBI status when doing my research but the amount of knowledge that she seemed to have was enough to make me bite the bullet. She took the time to actually explain why curls are curls and why they tend to misbehave like they do- the science behind it and everything- in a way that I actually understood and it MADE SENSE!!!! She then taught me- not just told me- taught me how to correctly wash, condition, apply products, style, and refresh my curls so that I could do it at home. I have such a difference already and I can't wait until my curly cut so that we can take some weight off my curls to allow them even more bounce. She also has answered any questions that I reached out with to ensure that I was doing the right thing or gives me advice on what to try instead. She truly is a curly girl God send. You can clearly tell that she has a passion for curls and definitely goes the extra mile to gain more knowledge and be sure that others can learn to love their curls instead of hate them. But she walked me through top to bottom on care at home, all the education on caring for my new hair. She is a wealth of knowledge. Fatima came recommended to me beginning of the year 2023. The words used were : she is reliable, neat and fair with her pricing. I cannot agree more and to add to that she is very friendly, makes sure you feel comfortable and has been able to braid all the hairstyles I have requested so far. I moved from NYC where you have the best hair braiders ( imo).
I do not know anyone else in Valdosta who braids like her and makes me feel like I got my hair done in NYC. You also get to relax in a clean and calm environment, pick a movie or two to watch depending on what style you do and get to use a clean restroom! We just moved here from Florida in August and I have been looking for a good barber for my 14 to soon. We have previously gone to 4 barbers around Valdosta just to be disappointed. So I decided to take him to Empire in the Valdosta Mall because they had very good reviews. Upon arriving we were immediately greeted by Alex who asked us to have a seat and they would get us in. Around 7pm Tajon called my son up. During the cut, Tajon was giving my son positive encouragement about school and academics. He was a very positive young man. I appreciated that. I was completely unaware that the mall closed at 8. About 820 he completed my son's haircut, I paid and Alex asked where we parked. I told him I'm the front of the mall. He then proceeded to call security to meet us to let us out of the mall. It was an overall awesome experience. I would definitely be taking my son back but this time with an appt. If you are new or a regular to Valdosta and need a great barbershop, Empire is the one!!!!

Most nail salons cater to women, but as a man with diabetes, I need focused, careful cutting and I appreciated their teamwork to serve me well. Also, the shop is very clean!

If you want your nails done, this is the place to go!! It was my first time getting my nails done here and I was so pleased. They greeted me and my friends instantly as we walked through the doors and offered us complimentary beverages. I have been going to Nails By Chris for the past 2 years - I've always love my nails everytime they do them and the serivce is always great! The past 2 times I've went the serice has been a little off.
Today when I went the tech was almost done with my nails and all she had to do was paint them - she stops doing my nails to go over and do another customers eyebrows.
That really just rubbed me the wrong way, I feel as if the customer should have had to wait like I did.
I will continue going - I just recommened that they finish with me before helping another customer.

I have been having plumbing issues for almost a year!! I called Roto Rooter yesterday evening & he came right out & got me together. After several different plumbers, he got the job done & the prices are more reasonable than expected.
I was caught by surprise with a frozen outdoor faucet during the cold weather spell this past week. The RHT office assistant, Gloria Mango, seemed to be one of the only plumbing company staff taking calls on the day after Christmas this year. The RHT plumbing team came promptly to my house on Tuesday, December 27th and worked several hours to install the new faucet and install some new pipe segments where they had rusted out in the wall space behind a bathroom. We plan to be loyal customers of RHT when we have plumbing issues to take care of in the future.Service: Plumbing pipe repair
We used VPS through our home warranty. They were very good, efficient and professional. Within the hour or so the two technicians came out to replace our water heater. One of them was one who worked with us prior to this service on a plumbing issue and had mentioned it in a conversation.
It showed us that VPS cares about their customers. It was overall a very good experience. I would recommend!
Ken’s carpet care just came out to clean my master bedrooms carpet. Chris and Will did a fantastic job! Didn’t seem to judge the dirt. Showed up on time. It only took about 40 mins from start to finish. It’s not dry yet but it already looks and smells 100 times better than an hour ago.

Grayson did exactly what he was hired to do. Performed exactly what the estimate stated with a reasonable price and on time. The recent hurricane caused major problems but when Grayson finished the backyard was beautiful with new grass, flower bed with palm trees. It makes me feel like I’m in Florida but I love being in Valdosta. Thank you so much.
They do a great job. They move fast and are affordable. If they are doing someone nearby they will reach out to you to see if you need them to stop by which is great ! 10/10 def recommend if you’re looking for a reliable yard service team

Want great prices on PVC? This is the place to go. They beat big box stores hands down. Friendly service, knowledgeable salespeople, and amazing selection. A project that would have cost us over $200 at Home Depot ended up costing under $100 here. Wish we had tried them sooner. We could have saved a lot of money!

Becoming a new patient at a dentist office can make you a little anxious. I can tell you from the first call I made to Kilby Family Dentistry to arriving to my first appointment, everyone was very helpful and pleasant. I had my consultation and Dr. Kilby explained different options for the work I needed. I was back for a cleaning and felt comfortable in the office. The entire staff is friendly and you can tell they are one big happy “family”!

My elderly father had a wonderful experience while being fitted for new dentures. The doctor and the whole staff were great, especially Mary she was humorous, patient, and kind. I highly recommend this particular office.
Amazing experience. Starting with the initial call to schedule an appointment, the front desk representative was very professional and truly listened to my concerns and was able to get me in asap. My daughter can be a bit dramatic with situations like this however Dr. Thomas was able to gain her trust therefore she was relaxed throughout the procedure and she is doing great!! Dr Woods is the absolute best. We love him so much. He has literally changed my life. I no longer am in constant pain in my left foot. It would just radiate pain even if I was just sitting in a chair. It has been like that for more than 10 years. After Dr. Woods operated on it and it healed I have been pain free. Something that I haven't been in a very long time. Now hiking is even more enjoyable.
Dr. Pitts was the only Podiatrist that ordered an MRI for the cyst on top of my foot. After years of pain, the MRI revealed bone spurs which were causing the pain. He surgically removed both ! I'll be able to wear shoes again ?
I have had back issues for years, but I was able to delay surgery for several years thanks to regular visits. The great care allowed me to hold out until I was ready to have the procedure, and continue to come back regularly to maintain my back .

I love Care Medical. The staff is always so kind, patient and caring. I see them about four times a week for various procedures. Tye is Amazing at massages and always makes me feel relaxed and comfortable. John and Marissa always have a smile on their face at physical therapy and help me with whatever pain I’m having. Ginger is excellent with dry needling and has been able to help my neck pain!

I'm basing this review solely on my phone interactions with the staff here and comparing them to an experience I had with another veterinary office in Valdosta. At Baytree, the woman (or women!) who answered my calls—one to set up my appointment and another to cancel—were incredibly kind and personable. If you’re the same person, thank you! Their phone etiquette is truly top-notch. If this is a reflection of how they treat their patients, I’m all in.
On the other hand, the other vet I called was a different story. The person on the phone was dismissive, informing me I’d need a $500 deposit, that my scheduled appointment would be billed at emergency rates, and that despite my dog being up to date on her shots, she would still need to be tested for parvo. What?! It was the most baffling thing I’d heard, especially since my dog just had a minor worm issue. I ended up purchasing an over-the-counter dewormer and treating her myself since we were sent to Florida before the scheduled appointment. (Hurricane Relief Work) So, do yourself a favor—go to Baytree!

Amazing first visit with my 2 dogs. Dr. Harrell introduced himself to my dogs at their level, getting down on the floor and letting them come to him, essentially putting them (& me) at ease. Highly recommend.

The people there are great!! I have a Yorkie that is tiny and requires a lot of gentle grooming, and they do an excellent job with her all the time!! They are the only ones that will groom her. My dog was extremely matted, and they made her look like a princess!! I'd recommend them to everyone!! They are simply the best!! Five ⭐'s + 5!!

I've been seeing Bill consistently for almost six years. Over the years, I have been to many massage therapists and Bill is by far the best I've had. He def knows the meaning of a deep tissue massage. I no longer have hip and back issues since seeing him. Do yourselves a favor and book an appt here!
