They were so patient, kind, and understanding with my daughter! When we walked in, my daughter was crying, they instantly offered her crayons and a coloring sheet to cheer her up. As we were waiting, the receptionist actively was trying to talk to my daughter to make her feel comfortable. Once we got back in the room the dental assistant read the room and saw that my daughter was terrified of laying on the chair. The assistant let my daughter stand up on the chair the whole time and let her do each step by herself before the assistant did it. By the end my daughter was smiling and giving fist bumps to the dentist. I can't wait to bring her back!

Absolutely amazing experience as always! My boys look forward to seeing the friendly staff, especially Katie at the front desk, who my boys think of as a friend after just two visits. It’s such a welcoming environment, they color in the waiting room, then when taken to the back they get to watch Disney+ on the ceiling TVs with comfy headphones on and they don’t even budge through the entire process. Afterward the boys picked out a toy race car and bubbles to take home! Who knew a dentist appointment could be so fun?!

Highest recommendation!! Do your family a favor and give Southland Children’s dentistry of Valdosta a try. We have been driving 70 miles to come here for all 6 of our kids since the early 2000’s. Even when our insurance provider was not in network, we still chose Southland because the quality of care is unmatched. I believe Dr Sellers and Dr Fields are sincere when they recommend only necessary treatments as if my kids were their own. The atmosphere is so welcoming with imaginative decor, prizes, and movies.
