“This is a long overdue review for excellent service we received from Kendrick Plumbing in December of 2025. Our home is a ranch on a slab. In early November we started noticing warm spots in various locations on the floor. Additionally, it was pretty cold outside but we were running the A/C due to the rising temperature in the house. After doing some preliminary YouTube research, we thought it was possible we had a hot water slab leak.

We reached out to Kendrick Plumbing to get some assistance on determining the root cause of our issue. The first technician arrived and did a thorough check and promptly recommended a leak detection company. We set up an appointment with the leak detection company and he positively identified one leak and thought there might be a second leak. The second leak could not be positively identified until the first leak was repaired.

The next step was to schedule a meeting for both Kendrick Plumbing and the leak detection technician to be onsite at the same time. I was away for that appointment but both teams spent lots of time with my husband explaining their findings and providing recommendations on two viable repair options. Once they all talked, everyone called me to explain the situation. They all took such care in delivering what was technically bad financial news.

Our two options were to chase the individual leaks or do a whole house re-pipe. Again, thanks to YouTube, I was not completely surprised at the options. Kendrick Plumbing provided detailed estimates for both options and we made the decision to do the whole house re-pipe. Since there was no water intrusion, none of the repairs were covered by insurance. Tough news to get around the holidays.

We scheduled the work to be done the week after Thanksgiving. I believe we had the bulk of the Kendrick Plumbing team working on this effort. They worked roughly 10 hours a day for 5 days to complete the work. They were also very kind to me and answered any questions that I had along the way. They definitely handled our home with care and even made sure things were professionally cleaned at the conclusion of the whole project.

We had previously used Kendrick Plumbing to install a whole house water filtration system so we were already fans of their work. After this much larger project, they have customers for life from our family.“
