“I can’t say enough about Dr Jose Orta and the staff at Total MD in Coral Springs. Dr. Orta’s professionalism is far above most doctors I’ve been to. He’s honest and listens to his patients. I’ve been going to him now for almost 3 months and he’s help me tremendously. His knowledge and expertise has helped me make decisions that were very difficult for me. He’s very patient and understanding explaining everything to me so that I understand exactly what I need to to help make those difficult decisions. I used to get horrible migraines at least 3 times a week. Since I’ve been under his care I very seldom get any. He is very thorough and makes sure his patients are getting the care they need. “November is the month of Thanksgiving and I want to express my deep sense of gratitude to Dr. Inese Salei and the entire team at her medical office.For her soul as a real doctor, for her high medical literacy, for true professionalism, for caring for me, an ordinary patient, of which she has many. This is so important and worth a lot, especially in the conditions of the American medical care system with all its achievements, but also problems that each of us knows firsthand and constantly faces.Dr. Salei is a very competent and efficient doctor, who always completes the treatment of each of my health problems. With soul, with the highest medical ethics, with patience and perseverance. This makes her stand out from many others.And now - even more specifically. Over the past six months I have had three occasions when I got sick. One is increased blood pressure, the other is severe radiculitis, the third is severe sore throat. My visits in past years to the “ER” hospital ended with many hours there, a quick test and always a recommendation to continue the conversation with my family doctor. That is, almost nothing.Like any doctor, Dr. Salei works around a very busy schedule to see her patients. But due to the urgency of my condition, I was never denied an urgent appointment. From my personal experience in California and Florida, not all medical offices wanted to make such an exception, and then the “trouble” began.Dr. Salei listens to me very carefully, examines me, analyzes me and begins to provide all the necessary assistance. Attentive and caring. This applies to me, my wife, and those kind people who recommended this particular doctor to us.She has a wonderful team of professional, intelligent, kind and polite employees. There are no queues at the reception, there is no rush, which I have seen in other offices, because a lot of time is allocated for each appointment. Her office has never referred me to specialty medicine, x-ray, MRI, etc. offices without assuring them that I and my health insurance would be accepted unconditionally. This has always been and is real concern for me – a person and a patient. This always required additional efforts from the office, as they say here “taking an extra mile”. This is great humanity, which, unfortunately, is not so much and not so often these days. I am writing about this after 35 years of living in the USA and being a university professor.I still teach university students, now in Florida, in downtown Miami. “Everything about my visit here was great and the staff couldn't have been any nicer, literally everyone I came into contact with was absolutely amazing and so kind. I had to get a medical clearance for some upcoming surgery so I was a bit on the nervous side and they were so understanding and patient with me. I only wish I had gotten the names of everyone who worked there but I will say that Guillermo the physicians assistant was awesome and really easy to talk to. I have really small veins and I'm hard to draw blood from but the lady who took my blood did it painlessly. For those people complaining that they had to wait longer than they wanted to, well obviously there's going to be a wait especially since they take their time with each patients and don't rush you out of there. I will definitely go back there should the need arise!“
