“So my husband was the first one who got it done. I was still kind of iffy about it but as time went by and I saw that he can see and didn't need his glasses. I was kind of feeling left out so I decided to go through with the procedure. Boy was I nervous. Super nervous but at the end I let my nerves get the best of me. They help me relax and I was going through the procedure and somebody that had had talked to told me it's all in your head. I promise you it's not as bad as you think. It's not going to hurt so I 100% went through with the procedure and let me tell you it was all in my head. The procedure wasn't bad at all. It was quick easy, but of course it's normal to be a little nervous. It's something different. Something you've never gone through. My advice to you is grab something that makes you comfy. Absolutely wear something that makes you comfy after the procedure. Make sure you keep your eyes closed and just rest rest of the day of rest the next day until you feel comfortable that you're going to be okay. Take your medications. they give you all the stuff that you need. if you have Lupus it's absolutely okay. It will take you a little bit longer. Not much. Maybe a day or two but you are going to love every moment of it to be able to see with no glasses to be able to look at little things that you needed your glasses for and something as silly as being in the shower and you can see it's beautiful. I completely recommend it and the doctor at Lasik plus amazing. They are all amazing. If I can go around giving hugs I would so I know you're nervous. Maybe you are. Maybe you're not. And no worries if you're feeling stressed on the moment. They give you these little stress balls that you could just grab onto and squeeze the crap out of it. That was amazing! “****Looking for a great eye care Dr., this is the place!!!!****Dr. Samuel Petro is an amazing eye Dr.. I was having an issue with one of my eyes and needed to see an eye Dr.. After a lot of looking for an eye Dr. (I had never been to one my whole life), I chose Sunset Eye Care (just over 30 min.s away from my home / that’s how picky I am!). It was worth the drive. I was greeted warmly by the office staff (Selina and Samantha) When I went in I was really nervous. When Dr. Samuel Petro looked at my eye, he knew right away something was wrong. Since I had never been to an eye Dr. before, the stress was building in me, I nearly passed out (I was so embarrassed!!) before he could even really talk to me about what he saw!! He gave me time to relax, he was very understanding, patient and kind; and made sure I was okay, even though he had other patients waiting. No rush!! (Wait!, A Dr. NOT RUSHING YOU, try and find that today!!) Once I was feeling better , we talked about his findings. Since my issue was very rare, he wanted more time to research the matter, as he wanted to make sure I get the right treatment. I felt like I mattered. I was not a number. Dr. Petro didn’t want to pass me off quickly to just any specialist, wasting both my time and money, not to mention even the specialist’s time. Dr. Petro is a rare find in the field of Dr.’s. He really takes his time and gets to know his patients. He puts himself in their shoes. Dr. Petro looks at all treatment options available and knows one treatment is not the same for all people, even with the same issue. He is a Dr. who really took the Hippocratic Oath to heart. He wants to help people in need of eye care, and enjoys his work. His patients come first, NOT the money!!. I do not have health insurance and he even works with you on pricing and payments. Dr. Petro, thanks so much for all you have done for me and saving my eye sight!!! I can not recommend you enough.
