We are new to St. Petersburg and didn’t know where to begin finding a new Optometrist so I Googled some options and to my delight I accidentally chose Shettle Family Eye Care and I’m so very glad I did. My physically handicapped adult daughter had a lovely pair of Kate Spade glasses for two years that she has never worn because no one could adjust them to fit comfortably. I called before our arrival to ask for the hours they were open and when we arrived I was pleasantly surprised with the physical handicapped accessible entrance, the friendly smiling staff, the beautiful decor and pleasant music being played. Most of all we want to send a BIG THANK YOU to Brian for his expertise in adjusting an expensive pair of glasses that weren’t being worn till now. “This practice is really outstanding. I find the staff to be very caring and Dr. Sorkin is clearly an expert at what he does. I drive half an hour for my kids and I to see him. He also offers vision therapy, which not everyone does. If you don't know much about VT I highly recommend reading up on it, as it can save kids from lazy eye surgeries and from ADD diagnoses when the real problem is vision issues. I trust the prescriptions Dr Sorkin gives us and will continue to have our family see him for years to come.“
