I'm some what disappointed with what seems like a constant turnover in staff.It appears only a few are long time employees! “My wife, family and I have been patients of Tocker & Associates for over 10 years and have always found the care of Dr. Tocker and his staff to be very caring and patient. Their place of business is run smoothly, professionally and is very clean. When calling for non-emergeny issues I usually always get a live person to talk to and if not then I leave a voicemail and either John or Nicole call me back quickly. Both Nicole and John (Front Office) work very well together handling everything from assisting Dr. Tocker with exams, to eyewear to all our insurance questions.I also really appreciate the technology this office deploys as it assists with eyecare scheduling that works around my life. I always receive a reminder via text with any upcoming appointments and just today I received a text requesting I check out their new online app, "EyecareLive". This app allows me to remotely reach Dr. Tocker 24/7 with all of my eyecare issues. I can actually state that I've never been spammed due to any technology in use by this office and they take great care in protecting patient information. I highly recommend them.“

I've been to several other optometrists in the area and my experiences have been just OK, but the level of service I received from her was superior. And as an added plus, she has a great smile and a very welcoming demeanor. Loved her!“

“I needed contacts and they were able to schedule me a appointment same day. The lady at the desk was both friendly and competent. The optometrist makes you feel comfortable while doing the eye test.“

“I’ve been coming here for 18 years and have had great experiences with Dr. Blackburn, Flo, Noelle and most of the staff. It seems, lately, however, that the front desk staff are less than polite and helpful. I arrived today at 1:45 to see the optician to pick up my glasses after having been told they would be at lunch from 12:30 - 1:30. The woman at the front desk told me that the optician was still at lunch. Okay, that happens. But when I tried to ask her about an ETA , she was rude and dismissive - as if I were annoying her by showing up to pick up over $1,000 in glasses. I got that same vibe the last time I was here as well, but chalked it up to just her just having a busy day or a bad day. My suggestion would be to have people out front who represent the company well. If I were new here and had to base my experience on my last two visits, I would be looking for another practice. However, I reiterate - the doctors and most of the staff are great, it’s just the whole front desk experience.“

“Cataract surgery....Dr. Jeffrey Boyd of Delaware Eye Care performed my surgery in 14 minutes, explaining the procedure as he went along. I was interested in his removing the clouded lens that was 74 years old and just seeing a "glow" of light there. Optic nerve was good! As the new lens was inserted, I saw the 2 surgical lights overhead. Soooo incredible this technique. Folliw-up tomorrow morning and other eye in 18 days! Special shout-out to nurse Pat who made me feel at home initially. I give Delaware Eye Care ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ . They are professional and truly caring!2 years later, I am still seeing better than I ever anticipated. I can drive without corrective lenses and love this! Wish I had cataracts removed at a much earlier date!!! Dr. Jeffrey Boyd did a truly amazing job! I am impressed. 5-star ophthalmologist-surgeon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
