“Ray and the RTP crew have done 3 roofs on our home and 2 large utility sheds. In my opinion they sre 2nd to none! I'm sure their are people out in our community that come home from work just to find garbage that wasn't picked up, roofing nails That cost you a couple of tires because they were none repairable not to mention the inconvenience of the old roofing material blowing into your neighbors property! Whenever I deal with a new contractor I keep a little closer eye on them to make sure everything is running smooth. I don't believe you could find a better company that does the work correctly, doesn't rush thru it and double checks all the plywood on the roof and then make sure that they are respectful of your property as well as the surrounding homes! They take the proper time required to not only replace other vents and sub-roofing material but pay attention to detail! Any other work that might have to be done is only with the full explanation and O.K. of the home owner. Gutters, fireplace areas are treated with respect and made sure they're treated properly not to create an issue we're there isn't one. If you have a job that is going to take more than a day, all excess scrap is cleaned up and properly secured. Before hand you are able to sit down with a key person to decide what colors and textures are going to look proper and satisfactory to you as the owner. Finally after all the shingles are cut to perfect size then they use a special roofing adhesive around all vents, caps of roof and any other areas that require sealing. Like others I want to have any one to pull up to my home and the roof give it a wow factor! I know my wife and I share in the detail of a house we've first been to and sit in the car for a little longer time trying to figure out what we could do to give our house that outstanding factor! Bottom line is that RTP Roofing does a quality job without the overcharging that you'll get from other companies, because they believe in profitability of professionalism and try to fast talk you into something that is not absolutely necessary!!! Let's face it most of us that are not in a specialty type of construction are trusting the word of a 3rd party salesperson. Your roof can be temporarily sealed from weather while you do your do diligence and take time to get you questioned answered. Ray at RTP is a gentleman that will take his time with you so before the first hammer swings you'll have piece of mind. In a different situation in past years I pulled the trigger to quick and ended up with a job that took to long a just looking at it from the curb it was shotty work that if I would have taken just a little more time the work and pricing would have have come out much more satisfactory! I've learned over the years that a reputable contractor will come to your home take some measuments and not charge you to simply have a reasonable conversation and answer questions. I've made mistakes when I was a younger man because I didn't do my diligence! I'm not receiving any thing for this review, it's just an option that I think most people will find helpful. Do yourself a favor before you spend either a large deductingble or the cost of a whole roof coming out of your pocket! Make a simple phone call, Good Luck.
