While other roofers stalled, Bold Brothers had a crew at my house within an hour to safely remove the tree and tarp the roof.<br><br>That was just the beginning. State Farm spent the next two months trying to lowball the claim, offering to replace just a few shingles (it eventually required state agency intervention). Jake became my absolute champion. He spent hours battling the adjuster, pulling Lakewood building codes, and building an airtight case for a proper repair. If I had gone with any other roofer, insurance would have gotten away with doing the bare minimum.<br><br>The moment the full claim was finally approved, Jake had a crew out within days. They replaced the entire roof, decking, and front gutter in under 9 hours. The work quality was flawless, and the crew was so efficient and friendly that I actually hired a few of them back for other projects around the house.<br><br>The insurance process was a total nightmare, but working with Bold Brothers and Jake was a genuine pleasure. His attention to detail made a significant difference and helped ensure the claim accurately reflected the extent of the damage. The shed roof vent was not replaced, the flashing on the side of our lean-to shed was not installed, and the decorative wood diamonds on the roof eaves were reinstalled crooked. Rather than waiting, we took care of replacing the shed vent and straightening the decorative wood diamonds on the roof eaves ourselves.<br><br>Overall, these were very minor issues compared to the quality of the overall project.
