550 Thornton Pkwy #224, Thornton“I studied Pai Lum with Sifu Post about 15 years ago, after which i moved to the northwest, it made such a huge difference in my self discipline and understanding of hard work that it stuck with me all the way through my high-school career into my adulthood. Recently ive begun taking lessons again online with Sifu Post all the way from the northwest and even through the screen has been able to teach me and get me back on track. Its amazing how things come back when you love them! Im so excited to have my Sifu back, 10/10 the only Martial art I would recommend on a personal basis. You WILL improve and you WILL get stronger and more in touch with your body. Even online!“

The instruction is detailed and the instructors can see from all perspectives what someone might need help with. Weather that's height difference, stance or experience levels with self defence. Thank you so much to James and his wonderful team.“

6821 W 120th Ave C, Broomfield“I can’t say enough good things about Professor Jubera and his school. I feel safe and accepted. The curriculum is excellent. Professor Jubera is patient and dedicated to his craft, as well as his students. The other black belts are just as caring and dedicated as he is. I tried other schools around Denver and found myself going back to Jubera time and time again. I have so much respect for him. Can’t recommend enough.“

3901 E 112th Ave, Thornton“Universal Taekwondo is incredible! I had the pleasure of witnessing their students and coaches during the Open Colorado Cup Tournament we hosted, and I was truly impressed. Their students are strong, disciplined, and highly skilled — a true reflection of the dedication and expertise of their coaches. We recently sent two of our students to join this school because they moved, and we are so confident they are in excellent hands. The coaches at Universal Taekwondo genuinely care about their students’ growth and success. Their passion, professionalism, and encouragement create an environment where students thrive and build confidence. Highly recommended!“

They do an amazing job building confidence, discipline, and respect while still making classes fun and engaging. It has been very encouraging to watch the progress and confidence our child has gained since joining. We highly recommend CTI to any family looking for a positive, supportive environment!“
10AM - 12PM
2790 Industrial Ln, Broomfield“I’ve been training at Zingano since 2024 and can honestly say it’s a special place.
The coaching is exceptional. The instructors bring decades of combined experience across Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling, MMA, and professional competition, but what impresses me most is their ability to teach. Whether you’re preparing for competition or simply trying to become stronger, healthier, and more capable, they meet you where you are and help you improve.
Just as important is the culture. People work hard here. Training is challenging. Teammates push each other to get better every day. At the same time, it’s done with a level of respect that’s becoming increasingly rare. There is a strong sense of humility throughout the gym, and that allows everyone to learn, grow, and train hard without unnecessary ego.
Over the last couple of years, I’ve seen significant growth in myself—not just physically, but mentally as well. Zingano has played a meaningful role in that.
For anyone looking for serious martial arts training from experienced fighters and coaches, combined with a culture built on respect, discipline, and continuous improvement, I highly recommend Zingano.“

2300 E 120th Ave Suite 112, Thornton“I had my son’s 9th birthday party at Peak Martial Arts and I am SO PLEASED with the way it turned out. Our time was nicely spaced out and nothing felt rushed. From shooting basketballs and playing arcade games to an epic nerf war (the dads even jumped in!), everyone had a great time! My son had such a great time we are looking at the after school program. Customer service and communication was fantastic and the price was right. We will be supporting this local family owned business as much as we can…. And, most importantly, all these kids (and dads!) will sleep good tonight!“

3979 E 120th Ave, Thornton“I was a student at MHK when I was a kid and the life lessons I learned stuck with me as I got older. When I became a parent, I wanted my son to have those same life lessons. Not just confidence, but the discipline and work ethic, the whatever it takes attitude, perseverance to get through hard things. My son is very introverted and struggled a lot with social anxiety. Since he has been in karate, our extended family compliments him all the time on his confidence and leadership abilities. He is now a part time instructor and part of the ambassador team. He has made so many friends (so have I) and karate is really our second home. I have also found myself again. After I left karate when I was 17, I always missed it. It was such a huge part of my life and coming back was one of the best decisions I have ever made, not just for my son but for myself as well. Being able to work hard side by side with my family has been incredible. But the best part for me at this stage is seeing other students achieve their goal of becoming a black belt and helping them along that path. I love how supportive the MHK community is and I encourage everyone I meet to try martial arts. No matter your age. I am 45 and still training, I like to try to keep up with the kids! If I could give 10 stars I would!! ❤️?“

297 US-287 suite 106, Lafayette“Mr. Schilz and his classes are the absolute best! I do the kickboxing class and the boot camp and I love that not only do I get a great workout out of them, but I also really appreciate how friendly the atmosphere is. While other martial arts classes can feel really intimidating, his classes are so welcoming, and you can go with whatever level of intensity works for you. This is the first time I am consistently working out after having a baby and I’m so grateful I found this studio.“
5 - 6PM
9165 Lowell Blvd, Westminster“Our family had a wonderful experience training with Sensei David and Regev. Two of our children trained under their guidance, and even our youngest – still just a baby – loved being around the energy and excitement of the dojo!
What stood out to us most is how Sensei David has this remarkable ability to balance authority and warmth. He’s firm when he needs to be, but always in a loving and respectful way that makes the children feel supported and confident. His great sense of humor keeps everyone engaged and smiling, even during tough drills.
Both of our kids have grown in focus, confidence, and self-awareness through his teaching. My husband and I have also appreciated the way Sensei David naturally weaves in life lessons about discipline, respect, and resilience — things that go far beyond martial arts.
We truly enjoyed every session and highly recommend this school to any family looking for meaningful, high-quality martial arts instruction in a supportive environment.“

7506 E 36th Ave, Denver“I cannot say enough positive things about Kicking for Life. Finding the right environment for my son was crucial, especially after moving across the country. We checked out a couple other places, but as soon as my son came to Kicking for Life, we stopped looking. Master Kellye exceeded all expectations. She and other instructors create a welcoming atmosphere. They make every lesson engaging for the kids, balancing the fun and learning. They are creative at teaching not only karate techniques but also important life skills like discipline, respect, and perseverance.“

2255 W 136th Ave, Broomfield“I’ve watched my first two children blossom here - my stepson is a teen now and about to test for brown belt, and it has given him so much confidence and athleticism. My daughter has been going since age 4 and is now 7, and this is her only consistent activity over the years. I see the skills she has learned translating into other seasonal sports and activities, as well as increasing her ability to make friends and try new things like biking and rock climbing without fear. The private lessons have forged bonds between her and her training partners that I can tell will be lifelong. My husband and I just started training last year too and we love it! We drive over half an hour because we love this place so much. I highly recommend this place for children and adults alike.“
9AM - 9PM
6490 Wadsworth Bypass, Arvada“My son started at Seo’s at 8 years old.. he ended his 3rd degree Kyosa and instructor career a few year back and I have to contribute his maturity strength and success to his loving and structured training he received at Seo’s, we were not able to pay his tuition many times.. as a matter of fact Seo’s hope foundation provided for my family many years ago and saved us from a dire situation.. My son is on the spectrum and I was told I would care for him forever.. Seo’s took him and gave him confidence and structure and a drive to become a strong independent man.. I absolutely couldn’t be more grateful for Grand Master Seo and Master O’Halleran for their love and guidance for my whole family..“

7174 Washington St #C, Denver“Great teachers. I have loved our teachers since I started back in 2009. The school students are always willing to help. Lots of wonderful material to learn while too, finding your own strength from within. A wonderful place to find self healing as well as ways of fending off attackers. So many goodies within one school. I am definitely proud to have these people as our teachers.“
3:30PM - 12AM
2497 Fenton St, Edgewater“I highly recommend Universal Kempo Karate. Every time you enter you will be warmly welcomed by Jamie - who is not just an excellent instructor, but a wonderful human being. Jamie is super friendly and extremely approachable. He makes it a point to have one-on-one conversations with all the parents. Our son absolutely loves the time he spends at Universal Kempo Karate. While he isn’t naturally inclined towards sports, this program has been a great outlet and we haven't observed him get frustrated like with other sports and it's the only place he gets a good dose of exercise. He has advanced rapidly, testament to both his efforts and the nurturing environment of the school. I'm not an expert on martial arts school class structures but we really like the flow of each class. Each class begins with a not-too-strenuous warm-up, followed by genuine martial arts drills tailored for all age groups, often sometimes includes more strenuous runs and typically mostly entails defense, attach, weapon drills or sparing. The fellowship hall is spacious and there is always plenty of room for the students. A special shout-out to Dominic, who is great with the students and an excellent practitioner. If you're looking for an inclusive, friendly, and professional karate school for your child, check out Universal Kempo Karate! Not only will your child learn karate as a martial art, but also they will be encouraged to develop life principles like discipline, respect, and self-confidence.“
