16255 W 64th Ave #4, Arvada“My 4 year old son was having a tough time feeling comfortable in the group setting. When I expressed my concern to Master Pederson, after thinking we would just have to withdraw from the studio, she offered many creative solutions to help him feel more confident in class. Master Pederson was so kind, compassionate, understanding and supportive for both my son and myself. My son is now fully confident and excited to participate in group classes! I highly suggest Victory Martial Arts - Arvada if you are looking to get your little one into this amazing activity. We wouldn't have gotten over this obstacle without Master Pederson and Mrs. Downs. Thank you both!“
“My son LOVES the after school program so much. And we love the extra training he gets. Love this place!!!The dojo is top notch. Clean with happy kids and adults learning martial arts. I wouldn’t even entertain the thought of enrolling my child in another school. Best teachers, instructors, owners, and staff!!!“
“Synergy is great place. Self defense based kickboxing that also offers a fitness class. Both my daughter and I participate here and we really enjoy it. The instructors are awesome and we always look forward to our next lesson.“

My daughter has learned a ton and her physical abilities and self confidence have increased dramatically over the past year. CTI is able to hold tournaments, camps and more across all their campuses that other schools wouldn’t be able to do. Overall they are top notch.“

7909 W 16th Ave, Lakewood“A traditional karate dojo that is a great experience for both kids and adults. There is a strong sense of community, discipline, and a sense accomplishment for students as they progress. My son is excited to come to every class and I never feel pressured that he is getting behind. I would recommend this dojo for any new students of any age that are curious of a unique and fantastic experience“
“I have limited mobility and was a little concerned about trying karate/self defense...but...after winning some free private sessions from Z-Ultimate in Broomfield, I decided the universe was telling me to try! Much to my surprise, Sensei John was able to accommodate my limitations, while also insuring my experience was just as valuable as any able-bodied person!!Thank you Sensei, I look forward to continued strengthening (and maybe earning belts in the future)! As far as the dojo, it is always clean and welcoming. Even the other students welcoming and friendly.“

634 W 84th Ave, Thornton“Tradition, family, and a feeling of teamwork are just a few great things I have gotten to learn over time with Pai Lum White Dragon Martial Arts. Self-defense is a big part of the curriculum. Training in weapons, self-defense, and forms comes with each level and is a lot of fun and takes a lot of hard work. The instructor is fair and helpful when you put in everything you have to build your own success. I even learned they offer the class community things like social gatherings for the holidays, a summer camp for focused training, semester seminars, and even an annual banquet that celebrates everyone's hard work. In this day and age, there are not many that do this. I will continue to support and remain a student of Pai Lum White Dragon Martial Arts.“

If you’re just starting out wanting to learn Jiu Jitsu, this is a great place. Also Dave is a black belt and a literal wizard, so if you’re a higher belt trying to find a new place to train and learn, this is an awesome spot. Please check them out. Also they are clean and serious about hygiene on the mats.“

2497 Fenton St, Edgewater“I highly recommend Universal Kempo Karate. Every time you enter you will be warmly welcomed by Jamie - who is not just an excellent instructor, but a wonderful human being. Jamie is super friendly and extremely approachable. He makes it a point to have one-on-one conversations with all the parents. Our son absolutely loves the time he spends at Universal Kempo Karate. While he isn’t naturally inclined towards sports, this program has been a great outlet and we haven't observed him get frustrated like with other sports and it's the only place he gets a good dose of exercise. He has advanced rapidly, testament to both his efforts and the nurturing environment of the school. I'm not an expert on martial arts school class structures but we really like the flow of each class. Each class begins with a not-too-strenuous warm-up, followed by genuine martial arts drills tailored for all age groups, often sometimes includes more strenuous runs and typically mostly entails defense, attach, weapon drills or sparing. The fellowship hall is spacious and there is always plenty of room for the students. A special shout-out to Dominic, who is great with the students and an excellent practitioner. If you're looking for an inclusive, friendly, and professional karate school for your child, check out Universal Kempo Karate! Not only will your child learn karate as a martial art, but also they will be encouraged to develop life principles like discipline, respect, and self-confidence.“

2790 Industrial Ln, Broomfield“My son and I walked into Zingano BJJ 6 years ago. He had expressed interest in martial arts and I wanted to learn more about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We both signed up and started training. The kids coaches did a great job of keeping the kids attention and making the class fun and safe. The more that my son trained the more I saw his training influence other aspects of his life. He was more focused, more considerate and worked harder at the other things that he enjoys doing. 6 years later his training still gives him an edge. He does great in school and at football and I believe that this is due to the discipline and training he has received at Zingano’s. He continues to train and compete. The coaches and curriculum at Zinganos are top notch as is the facility. Everyone there is committed to learning and improving each other’s knowledge of BJJ. We train hard and everyone has a great time doing so. I cannot recommend Zingano Brazillan Jiu Jitsu enough if you and or your family is looking for a place to train.“
“Great sensei's that are very supportive and care about individual progression and earning your belt. I've been a member for 2 months and go weekly and feel much more confident of my skills. Small classes thus far just means I get more attention to details. The classes at occasionally the same but there is a good variety of skills.“

585 Burbank St unit c, Broomfield“Limitless Martial Arts 10/10, will go again. If you skip the rest, I want to say one thing: "No Contracts"... if you've trained in other martial arts, you know that this is a *huge* commit by the staff to your experience and school culture.----I've been attending ~3-4x/wk since Dec 2022, Muay Thai & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes. I'm a middle aged adult in average shape. I've attended a range of martial arts and am a military veteran. Here is what I've seen so far:- The coaches are knowledgeable and experienced.- There is a family culture which is passionate & welcoming. - The emphasis is on student growth. Real-life + schedule pressures are ok.- (culture) The advanced students are about knowledge transfer & don't act threatened or indifferent to new members.Regarding the facility and operations:- Facility is clean and well-maintained. Walk in and notice - no locker room smell.- No contracts! Payment stuff has been no-friction for me.- Uniform requirements are fair and affordable (check out reddit BJJ $$$ horror stories).- My classes are not typically crowded, have experienced more 1:1 attention (accelerating progress).-Robfacebook.com/thelimitles…“
“Amazing place! I was looking for a kickboxing gym for my daughter when I found FuseBox and what I found was so much more. The whole family now attends classes now. It is a great atmosphere to learn. Coach Sully does an excellent job of meeting people where they are at and advancing them to where they want to go. Really could not ask for more. Highly recommend for kids, teens and adults.“
