“Initially we weren’t even looking to build our next home. My career started in Colorado 40 years ago and we wanted to take a look at The Springs just to confirm that’s where we wanted to move to from out of state. We talked to most of the semi-custom home builders during our initial visit just to see if that was an option. Saddletree had the best lots in the best communities and their reputation among the real estate agents was excellent. We discussed key concepts like energy efficiency, smart features, and the customization process both with Saddletree and their competitors. Once again Saddletree (ST) had the knowledge and track record that made it a no-brainer decision for us.We would be mostly out of state during the build so communication and planning was important. ST has a website that kept us informed with weekly photos and status reports (plus a repository that tracked who did what that we can refer back to forever).
