I am a 76 year old male who recently had an irreparable retina tear which led to a loss of vision in my right eye. Derrick Scott gave me techniques to drive safely despite the resulting loss of depth perception and reduced visual field. In addition, he helped me to overcome 50 years of bad driving habits and how to better anticipate safety threats.
Derrick takes driving safety extremely seriously and instructs someone with diminished physical abilities on how to move forward and adapt to the new situation. His instruction was just what I needed both to drive safely and to accept that vision would not return to my eye.
