And I understand that there is usually only one vet working at a time, but if you make an appointment just make sure you set aside at least 2 hours. “I wanted to leave a 5 star review for the melrose vet. They helped my dad get healthy after 3 days of being sick and took the time to take care of him and make sure I was informed. Unlike the pet hospitals, the melrose vet puts the energy into making you feel like you’re apart of the process and you know what’s going on. As a college student they worked wonders for me from an affordability standpoint and I would say to 1000% trust them.

“I was really happy with their service and flexibility. I went in after walking out of my regular vet because the bill was too high and they would not give me any alternative options. After paying crazy amounts in vet bills for various situations in the past few months I was starting to feel financially manipulated by vets so I shopped around a bit and echo park gave me a rough estimate over the phone and was very flexible in person. I went in twice for follow ups which I might have been afraid to do somewhere else. Very grateful for them accommodating me and my kitty!

“I have been going to Dr Tang since the mid '90's, when I had a pet cockatiel with my two sons, and more recently since 2007, when my husband and I got our first dog. He saved our dog, Spencer about 15 years ago. He'd had a seizure out of the blue, when he'd accidentally eaten rat poison outside without our knowing it. Dr Tang not only saved Spencer, but that dog went on to live another 10 years almost! Most recently our dog Popper has some autoimmune disease, and Dr Tang has seen us almost 10 times over the past 2 months, trying his best to figure out how to treat this 7-year-old (young!) dog. We have all the confidence in Dr Tang's ability, expertise, and most importantly in his compassion. As others have mentioned, Dr Tang doesn't have great bedside manner with the humans who visit his practice, but he so obviously cares about our pets (his patients, as he said this morning), that I will keep going to him forever. And he is so reasonable, I sometimes wonder how he stays in business! God Bless Dr Tang!“

“It was about an hour to get there from my place with heavy traffic. I live near Hawthorne so it was kind of a drive. My only day off is Sunday & most vets are closed that day or I need to make an appointment for a long time from NOW… but found these guys online. They are at this location every Sunday.

The line was long when we got there but it went by sooooo fast! Maybe in line for about 10-15 mins. Took longer to get there than to be seen LOLOLOL

I went for a rabies vaccine for my puppy. It’s the last vaccine she needed. It was $20. I used Zelle to pay them. You can use cash or other cash apps but they DO NOT take debit or credit cards. I believe other days they are in other places. I’ll be coming here for her 1 year visit. Thanks for existing!“
