She has handled anything and everything we’ve presented her with. I value her opinion so much that, since moving out of state, I will send my mom with questions to ask her to double check whatever my current vet has said. I’ve tried multiple veterinarians and not one has come close to Dr. Cellu and the staff there. I highly recommend.“

“My dog got sick Sunday night and I had to take him to the ER in San Leandro. The cost was honestly ridiculously high, and he had to stay overnight. The next morning I was given the option to transfer him for surgery elsewhere, but I only had a few hours to find a clinic that could take him.

I called 4–5 places—either they didn’t offer surgery at their clinic or they were too full to take our case. Thankfully, one place referred us to the PetSmart Vet in Dublin, and they were able to take us right away. The cost was much more reasonable (about 3x less than the ER), and most importantly my pup was safe and received great care.

Dr. Park was amazing—so compassionate, calm, and reassuring during a really stressful time. My dog is now in a speedy recovery, and I’m truly grateful for Dr. Park and the whole team. Highly recommend!“

“Can I just say how appreciative I am of having found this pet hospital? My dog Kyla was experiencing what I believed were respiratory issues. She was struggling to breathe for a good 10mins. I had no idea where to take her so early in the morning and a quick google search led me here. I arrived, I asked if they take walk-ins for emergencies because my dog was struggling to breathe. It is all a blur to me after this but I remember hearing the staff yell out “oxygen!” And they took her back. I was bawling my eyes out. The staff was so comforting and handled everything so graciously! The vet came out and told me Kyla experienced a reverse sneeze and that she was stable. They brought her out shortly after that and gave me information on what to do and why it happens. I learned 2 things that day: what a reverse sneeze was, and that there really are angels walking on earth. Thank you to the staff for their quick actions and providing comfort in our time of need.“

They gave us hair clippings of our dog and even placed it in small bottles that can be used as key chains. They also help us arrange for the cremation and urn. I called in for a same-day appointment, which went well. They were punctual and knew my name when I arrived. The service at this clinic is noticeably different from PetSmart. I would recommend visiting here before visiting the other location. The doctor was very understanding and knowledgeable. He confirmed my bias and, after telling him how I was treating my pet, he ensured I took the correct precautions and also gave me extra info and med options. “My dog Dude, was scratching his skin off and I was unable to get him in with his usual Vet. They were not able to see him for 4 days. Hayward Animal Clinic was able to see him the next day. They treated him and sent us home with pills to take twice a day. His scratching started to subside within hours and the next day he was so much better.
I am thankful that Hayward Animal Clinic could see him so quickly and so professionally. They were very nice and handled Dude very well and gently.“

I took her there to be put down but the vet wanted to be sure and was nice enough to do a thorough exam before authorizing or agreeing with putting the cat down. The cat was in bad shape, she was dirty and her fur was matted but the vet treated her with respect and gave her the dignity she deserved!“

“I just moved from the South Bay and Peninsula was recommended. I needed to get in quickly for rabies and vaccinations for my pup. All went well, when I got there I was greeted by staff. It was busy, and I waited a tad longer. But it didn't matter, I really liked Dr. Ulla. She was personable. She got down on her knees to greet my dog who is 46 pounds. She reassured my pup and soon she was licking the vet! So big yay. I am thrilled to have found a great vet in Menlo Park!“
