“We recently made the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beloved cat Simba, who was 16 years old and suffering from progressive kidney disease that had taken away her appetite and her quality of life. Choosing in-home euthanasia was difficult, but Peaceful Pathways made it as gentle and peaceful an experience as we could have hoped for.
From our very first phone call, Amy was warm, patient, and genuinely caring as she helped us set up the appointment. We weren't sure we were making the right decision, and she answered all our questions with kindness and reassurance during a really uncertain time.
When Dr. Jenn Winnick arrived, her compassion was immediately evident. She took the time to explain everything and assured us we were doing the right thing for Simba. She treated Simba with such gentle care and created a calm, loving atmosphere for her final moments. Her kindness turned an unbearably sad day into one filled with peace and dignity for our sweet girl.
