Redwood Animal Hospital
“I cannot thank the team at Redwood Animal Hospital enough for their incredible compassion. It was incredibly difficult to find a vet who would see a bird. As I was frantically calling around, I quickly realized how rare it is to find a vet that treats Birds, Small Mammals like hamsters, Reptiles & Amphibians, Invertebrates & Fish.
IF YOU NEED AN EXOTICS VET, THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE THAT I KNOW OF IN THE EAST BAY.
I called them in a panic when Clyde, my late mother's 5-year-old parakeet, fractured his wing. I didn't know exactly how he hurt it, though I suspected the cat in our home might have had something to do with it. Clyde is a very sweet boy and my last connection to my mom after she passed on New Year's Eve in 2025.
Because I am responsible for multiple animals, I couldn't financially provide for his surgery, but I knew he deserved a home where he could get the immediate care and love he needed. When I asked if they knew anyone who could adopt him, one of the vets there was kind enough to personally take him on and adopt him.
Thank you all so much for showing me absolute grace and not judging me during a heartbreaking situation. Your empathy saved a very special bird, and knowing he is safe and thriving gives me immense peace🙏🏽”

“I wanted to share my wonderful experience with Canyon Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Bennett is the best vet we've ever had! The staff is amazing, and the whole practice deserves a 5-star rating.
Canyon Veterinary Hospital provides an outstanding customer service. We couldn't be happier with the care and attention we receive.”
