“I was in need of service and replacement for my mother's furnace. She had the original from1965. & was red tagged by gas Co. I'd been calling around and wasn't feeling comfortable with the info I got. Peter from boardwalk heating and air was recommended to me By my best friend. As soon as he answered the phone, there was a total air of patience with my concerns. Professionalism and explanation that I could understand including things I didn't know about regarding city permits. That could have been quite an issue had I gone the wrong route. In addition, with such professionalism and what I think is perfection. You would think the prices would be very concerning? But they were not. It was more than fair, but with much better quality immediate service and understanding that this was a delicate situation for my mother As mentally she does not understand always what's happening. They showed up on time and finished early with a job done to perfection. Now we have no worries, and i'm so glad I put my trust in this company. You may think me wordy, but I do not take this lightly. I am someone who runs her own business. And I know what quality service is with customer service and the work received. “It’s about time I did a review. We have had the whole house fan for over 2 years. We use it in the evenings and overnight during the summer months and haven’t used the AC except forever a few really hot days. It really works! Installation was fast, professional and with no mess left. I recently had an issue with the fan not turning on with the remote. I called and immediately got some impressive tech support with someone very knowledgeable. Things to try and in an order easiest to hardest. It turns out I just needed to re-pair my remote with the fan, so it was an easy fix that I could do. Great customer service!“

“McMaster did a complete replacement of our HVAC system. They are an authorized Carrier provider and I wanted Carrier equipment. Their price was great (I got 3 bids) and the service was 5-star. Of the 3 companies I considered McMaster was the only one to discuss options and rebate opportunities. Their price was competitive as well. But my biggest 5-star experience was the installation. The furnace was in the attic and the access was limited. The McMaster crew came in and replaced the whole system in a day. They left the jobsite clean and the new system works great - passed the HERS test and city inspection with flying colors. I can't recommend them highly enough and I'm a persnickety person - so I've been told.“

Both are knowledgeable and did a great job explaining how the whole house fan (WHF) and gable fan worked together.Install took less than 2 hours start to finish.The results are even better than I expected, the gable fan keeps the 2nd story cool during the height of heat- middle of the afternoon.
