Long story short, I moved away three years ago. Before that, I was a regular at Aya’s, and now that I’ve returned, let me tell you why I keep coming back. Aya is amazing, and so is her trained staff. I’ve been to other locations, but truly nothing compares to the service Aya and her team provide.
I got my Brazilian and underarms done with Aya, and she makes you feel so comfortable. She’s quick, but she also double-checks her work and removes every last little hair. Sorry for the TMI, but I know getting a Brazilian can be intimidating, so I’m here to tell you: look no further — this is the place to go.

Kristina was amazing from start to finish. She was so kind, professional, and attentive throughout my appointment. She checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable, answered all of my questions, and made the entire experience feel relaxing and enjoyable. I'm usually a big talker, but her setup was so comfortable that I actually found myself completely relaxing and enjoying the experience.
And my lashes... WOW. ? I am absolutely obsessed with the results! This was my first time getting a lash lift and tint, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but they turned out even better than I could have imagined. Just look at the before and after photos! Every photo is of my natural lashes with no mascara. Kristina knows exactly what she's doing. I genuinely didn't know my natural lashes could look this good!

My partner and I were hunting for a great gym in the studio city area. I was visiting so I signed up for a month. In a nutshell, Hunter has the best approach to fitness I’ve ever experienced. I was an overweight kid and I always felt like working out was a “have to” and something I just would never enjoy. Hunter changed my experience. Like other reviewers mentioned, his approach is very unorthodox and his workouts feel like adult play-time. I live in NYC and I wished I could bring Nomad gym back with me. Btw nomad gym has a great app, but to get Hunter’s hilarious, playful, kind and chill vibe that makes working out actually fun, you have to be there in person.
Kimo is phenomenal. He listens carefully when you speak and is great at connecting the dots about what's happening in your body. He never makes you feel rushed or unheard. His massages are the perfect mix of pain relief/muscle work & relaxation. I am so glad I listened to the reviews I read and decided to try him – best decision I've made for my body in a long time!!

I recently had my first Brazilian with Rachel & I’m in my 40s! From the moment I saw her beaming, sweet face, I felt immediately comfortable. She just has the perfect personality to put you at ease, right from the start. The waxing was painful at times (since it was my first) but she took her time allowing me to adjust to the process. She does a great calming mask and aftercare which felt really nice. Was the pain worth it? 1000%!!! She made a believer of me, she got every hair! I will be getting these for life now!

She's taken me from virgin hair to platinum blonde hair SO smoothly! She doesn't rush just so you achieve what you want. She's very caring and took the time to explain the process to me so I was able to maintain healthy hair through the process of achieving the shade of blonde that I wanted. I also come to her for keratin treatments, which are amazing for maintaining hair health (especially as a blonde!) I love how knowledgable Helen is about hair, which is what makes me comfortable to trust her with my hair. If she knows something will be damaging to my hair, she won't let me do it. My Mom's best friend for eight decades passed away, and services were held for her on Monday. My Mom was planning on attending but ended up being unable to do so unexpected. She wanted to be sure her friend was remembered with flowers.
The problem was, the Mass was at 12 noon on Monday after a long holiday weekend, and most florists didn't open until 10 am, leaving just two hours to select, arrange, and deliver a beautiful floral arrangement.

I’m a fairly new patient of several months, my previous doctor retired and I cannot believe what Dr. Palmer does to my back twisting and turning my body in a way I didn’t even know it was possible. He’s very friendly, super easy to talk to, he takes his time to understand your situation and how to help you. You could find yourself waiting a little bit longer for your appointment because he’s not rushing the patients in and out the door and that’s how it should be. Each of us go to him with different situations that need to be handled differently. It’s always a pleasure to see him. It feels like seeing a friend and getting your back aligned versus going to a boring doctor’s office. Highly recommend him.!!!

After moving to LA, I struggled to find a salon and stylist who could provide the results I wanted without spending all day and my entire bank account there. I happened to walk by Paul Donnell salon and reached out to Kimberly, the owner. First, I'll say Kimberly has incredible skill, is quick but does not rush the process or you, and is reasonably priced for the quality of her work. She's also simply a lovely person. She doesn't make me feel self conscious about what styles or color I want or any poor coloring choices I've made in the past. At the end of the day, you can depend on Kimberly to get you the results you want and give you great hair care and product advice. Just yesterday was my third or fourth time seeing Kimberly and I was, as always, thrilled with the results. A couple of other notes -- the salon is clean and spacious. The clientele and other stylists are respectful. Parking is generally easy and their hours are great - you don't have to wait months for an appointment. After trying several other places out, I'm so grateful I found Kimberly and Paul Donnell salon. HIGHLY recommend!
When I came to Dr. Richardson (Donnie), I nearly crawled. A confirmed couch potato, I had let my body deteriorate. When I slipped and broke my ankle, my back gave out, too. A wonderful place. Fantastic people who run it. A traditional Japanese approach to acupuncture. The intake was very thorough. The sessions typically run for about 70 minutes. The treatment is very effective. I would highly recommend KENKO Acupuncture to anyone. It has helped me so much!

When you find someone like Karen, your world changes. I told a friend I couldn't find an acupuncturist that I felt like I could or would keep going to. I had one like that a decade ago but have no clue where she is now and have been struggling to find someone who cares about you and really takes time to heal you and set your mind at ease. Karen is just an incredible and knowledgeable acupuncturist. She either has the answers or she quickly gets to the answers and always on a deeper level. I have massive vertigo issues that come and go from two past concussions and a low back injury that as well comes and goes from a car accident. So my body just has a way of throwing my life off and it gets overwhelming so to me it's always been so important finding the healers that care to share their knowledge and wisdom to help you. Karen introduced my body to acupuncture into the top of my head which I never experienced and I quickly started gaining back my short term memory that I lose from lingering vertigo spells. She recommended natural medicine and has them readily for sale at fair pricing for all my different assortment of ailments. And she doesn't give out fake knowledge. When she doesn't know the answer she'll pull one of her many books out right on the spot and get answers for you about what natural healant will work for you. Such a beautiful experience and so deeply thankful I have added her to my life because she just sets my mind at ease and her pursuit to get you/me feeling better is just a blessing.

Olivia did an incredible job on my manicure! I’ve always had difficult, weak, and ugly nails that have left many nail techs frustrated and confused over the years — they’re brittle, uneven, discolored, and full of ridges, among other problems. I had planned to just get a regular gel manicure and hope for the best, but Olivia immediately suggested using poly gel to strengthen and smooth out my nails. I was so shocked by how well it worked that I kept telling her she was a “nail wizard” and couldn’t stop staring at my own nails, which finally looked like actual normal nails for once! Polish always comes off my nails quickly, even gel, but it’s been almost four weeks now and the poly gel is still on there! I’m so glad to have found this place and Olivia, and I look forward to going back and seeing the nail wizard perform her magic again.
