My laptop became super hot and stopped responding all of a sudden. I googled the nearest store, and luckily, it was PCMAC Tech. Jason helped me right away. What a knowledgeable and friendly person! Not only he brought my laptop back to life, he also ran several diagnostics and didn't even charge me for a consultation. Fantastic. Called day of and asked if they could help me with an overheating MacBook Pro. Dropped it off with an estimate of a one day turnaround, but I got a call less than an hour later letting me know it was finished. Turns out my fans were clogged with dust. $65 all told! Dominic showed me a little video he'd taken of the guts so I could see the before and after. What a transformation! Took it home and immediately noticed a difference. No more overheating, keys cleaned so no sticking either. Will be coming back!
Top notch service and friendly team. Darwin assisted me with my external hard drive that had decided to go kaput, and was successful in retrieving all of my data. He explained the rates and process before getting started, and my good fortune would have it that the drive was not too far gone. He was able to work a miracle on the first attempt without breaking out the heavy data recovery artillery. I was so excited. Met Jason on the return pick up visit, and he was super nice and personable as well. So glad that I was able to patronize a neighborhood business.
