“We first called out Thrasher Termite & Pest Control for an inspection, which flagged several Section 1 and Section 2 concerns. Their quote covered local treatment and some wood replacement.

I was particularly impressed by the quality of their craftsmanship in the repairs. The team did a fantastic job replacing multiple boards that had been damaged by termites and dry rot. While their estimate only included priming the new wood, they went above and beyond by using the paint I supplied to finish the job. This was a massive help for me, especially since some of the second-story rafter tails were well beyond my easy reach. To top it off, they even addressed some window frame issues that were outside the original scope of work. Also the original inspector came to the site to make sure everything was going well.

After we signed up for the job, Jesus and the crew came with a truck that had a long tube to suck out the old insulation, installed new insulation, blocked openings that the rodents could enter the attic through, and set mouse traps. They put coverings on the floor, stairways, and walls to protect the house interior. Ricardo came for the follow up visit and removed a mouse that was caught by one of the traps.“

“I live by the hills in East Bay. Gophers appear in my backyard every now and then.
I have about 50 fruit trees and 100 rose bushes.
Got Gopher has taken care of my backyard from the past 4 years.
Whenever I see any activity all I have to do is call Lisa. She sends a technician either the same day or the next day to setup traps. Lisa is very easy to work with. I don't know how she does it but she can always manage to send a technician at the time that works for me. The technicians send me a call/text to give me heads up that he will be arriving soon. The technicians are very polite and friendly. They are always on time.
Got Gophers does not have a long term plan. You only pay per critter and the technician shows the dug out trap with the critter or a picture of it. The price is every reasonable.
I lost a lost of fruit trees and rose bushes to gophers. After I got Got Gophers services, I have peace of mind. They lay the trap so well that the gopher is caught in a day or two.
I give Got Gophers 5 stars.“

“J&M termite are amazing. I wanted a second opinion on a termite inspection for a house I was buying. The inspector, Louis, did a very thorough job. When J&M's report turned up a lot of work the first report hadn't, Louis talked me through the report and the findings on the phone, answering all my questions. Because of the second report, I was able to negotiate and make sure the sellers covered the cost of the required Section 1 work. I also had J&M do most of the work -- the house was tented for termites and beetles, and then a substantial amount of framing was replaced (the total pest report was around $14k). The work was performed by Robert and his colleague. Robert was also excellent: a few places the work was less than expected so he updated the quote, and finished half a day earlier. Robert also talked me through when most of the underlying issues are coming from, which is really helpful as I get quotes to fix the roof for the underlying source of leaks. Robert also signed off on some of the work that another contractor (that the seller had organized) was doing that J&M couldn't do themselves, and again was extremely thorough, catching work that would have been subpar and working with the contractor to make sure their work was up to standard. Having a termite infestation in a new house is scary and unpleasant, but J&M resolved it painlessly. I highly recommend this firm, and while I hope I won't need their services again, I would not hesitate to use them if I do.Services: Termite extermination“

“I went to two exterminator companies before this and they wasted my time and money. Most exterminator companies just set traps and check them. Complete waste of money. They fixed the problem by finding all the holes. They went onto the roof and that is where the problem was. None of the other company did this.“

“I contacted a few fumigation companies. Many owners are like salesmen - sounded good but not sincere. I find Justin, the owner of Costless, down-to-earth and straight forward. The office is also very communicative. Both put into extra effort and material to accommodate my special concerns.

One foreman was respectful and cooperative. The other foreman needed a better attitude. The crew also needed to be more careful with my plants.

If you are new to fumigation, bear in mind these companies have multiple jobs per day, which means they have limited amount of time for your job. So prepare your property accordingly.

My utility closet door was damaged after fumigation, and Justin came right away to fix it. All in all, I like the management of Costless, because of their willingness to go extra miles to do a good job.“

“Organized and very responsive people to work with at ABC Animal & Bird Control. We had a problem with small birds building a nest in our backyard, up high in the eaves. The nest was right above where we like to entertain and eat, causing a mess! I gave them a call, got a call back quickly (in under 20 minutes) and Chris came out to see what was going on a couple days later. He quickly turned around a quote, and we got everything scheduled as easy as could be! Chris came out perfectly on time once again, confirmed there were no eggs in the nest and did everything he said he would do, quickly and beautifully! Overall, Molly and Chris were amazing to work with and did an outstanding job! This team is fast and communicative and are true experts. Highly recommend!!“

“Okay, anyone who has had to deal with fumigating their home knows what an incredible hassle it is and such a disruption.

You have to leave your home for a couple of days, if you have a pet(s) they need to be boarded or taken care of by someone else, and honestly, I felt like my home was exposed to anyone who knows that you have to leave your home.

Life almost stops to package and go through one’s home in order to be safe with the toxic fumigants used. Days of work.

With that said, I need to give kudos to the crew from this company. I needed more of the bags provided by Nor Cal Fumigation, Inc, and there was zero issue in providing me with an ample number of bags. I am pretty organized, yet, I missed some items in my fridge and freezer that Lupe, or someone else on staff, thought should be bagged, so they took care of it.

I was a bit freaked that I had to leave my cabinets and closet in the garage unlocked and open because I was heading out of town and was not going to be home until the following day after we were allowed to go back in. When I got home, someone had shut the cabinet and closet, so you couldn’t see that they were open/unlocked.

Thank you to Lisa and her crew. You certainly made a lousy yet necessary situation with ridding our place of termites as easy as possible. PLUS, the men were on site on time!
