“Phoebe opened and started cutting hair outside of the salon. She wears a mask and so did I. She cleans the chair and is very COVID-19 ready! She only cuts. No styling & no wash. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and I was very pleased! I felt very safe!“

“Found this amazing salon on yelp. Cynthiana is amazing, got me a last minute appointment on Christmas Eve!!!! I had about an hour to get my hair blow dried. I was out of the salon in less than 40 minutes with amazing curls. Besides that, they offer cookies, tea and even gave me lollipops to go for my daughter. The best service! Highly recommend it.“

“Shelby has been my hairstylist for over a decade. She's WONDERFUL and moved to Paintbox several years ago so I followed her here. It's a nice, bright salon filled with many friendly stylists and location is easy to find. Unfortunately it doesn't have much parking next to the building-only enough for about 5 cars, and nearby street parking isn't plentiful either, so I usually park in the free parking lot located across the street where I've always found easy parking.“

“Crazy story time. 30 years ago when I was a wee lad I used to work in Cupertino, and I used to pop in to the haircut place in the shopping center where I worked for hair cuts. Fast forward 30 years, I've changed jobs, moved away, and haven't had a hair cut in the bay in ages... but I'm "home" briefly and need a hair cut. Quick look on Google and Happy Cuts is nearby with great hours. I ring and they're happy to book an appointment.The excellent woman is busy cutting my hair and we're chatting - I wondered when they opened (since they weren't here when I was a kid.) They moved here 6 years ago from... Cupertino! Turns out they were the shop in that shopping center 30 years ago that used to cut my hair!Anyway, the hair cut was perfect (despite never having seen me before and my hair being wildly over-grown). They asked all the right questions, clipped and trimmed it up just perfect. I took my mom, and she was equally pleased with her cut. They asked her a bunch of style questions and brought out some style equipment to ask what she was used to and what she did at home. They were really good about making sure she had something she was happy with and could manage at home.While we were in, lots of parents were bringing their kids through and they were excellent with them - kind, patient, attentive.So, crazy nostalgia aside, they did a great job. Easy to schedule, nice big place, clean, friendly, lots of people working. Prices are more than reasonable. I am really glad to have found them again and look forward to getting mom over there regularly for cuts. You should give them a shot the next time you need a cut, too!“
