“Today was my first visit at Mynt Salon with Rose! I was really nervous because I generally don’t try new places because I’m embarrassed about my scalp dryness. Given I’m going to be a new mom in a few weeks I wanted to just chop off my hair for ease.

Rose was so kind and made me feel comfortable and it was completely normal.
When I told her I wanted to chop it short due to less maintenance as a new mom she discouraged it and recommend a different cut that is still low maintenance but beautiful. I’m so happy I went with that she said because now I can look good and feel confident in my new hair! I will 100% be coming back to Rose at this salon!“

“My former hairstylist had left town, and I went to go see another stylist to touch up my layers. That stylist unfortunately did not do a good job. I had chunks of hair rather than layers blended into one another, so much weight taken off some pieces that the hair was sticking up, and uneven layers on each sides. Oddly, some layers were not even taken all the way around my head—they just kind of stopped. It was truly the worst haircut I had ever gotten and also the most expensive. (Side note: do not go see William at Queen hair salon.)

After this haircut catastrophe, I looked for a salon that would be able to fix it. I wanted an inclusive and kind environment and a stylist skilled with wavy hair. I called the Nook and got referred to Myra, who fit me in the same day.

Myra worked miracles and was extremely kind and positive. She asked for feedback at many points in the process and made small tweaks that made the cut really work for me. The other stylist did some damage to my hair that will take a while to grow out, but Myra disguised most of it and gave me a beautiful and unique cut.

This was one of the best haircut experiences I’ve ever had. I look forward to coming back and working with Myra again!“

Your salon is absolutely beautiful as well; the boutique vibe, high ceilings, and artistic decor created such a relaxing and personal atmosphere. We felt like VIP clients! Actually we were the VIP clients!
