Whenever I have a balayage or babylights done, even the grow out looks good! Erna is also always willing to answer any questions I have about the process. She definitely makes you feel comfortable and is easy to talk to. Not only does she focus on the quality of the hair color, but I also appreciate that she makes sure that my hair is still healthy! I love that Olaplex is included whenever bleaching is involved.“

“I've now been to Sophia for hair cuts 3 times, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. I've always hated how frizzy my hair is, and felt like I needed to weigh it down with oils to get anywhere. Other curly salons also only recommend their own products, and as I'm sensitive to fragrance, I'm unable to use any of them :(Sophia has spent hours now giving me great advice, and going beyond the call of duty by making sure that she only sticks to non-fragranced products! My hair feels completely transformed, and my curls are so bouncy, even 6+ months after a cut. Even my scalp health has been improved with the advice Sophia gave!I especially am very nervous with haircuts as I've had some very bad experiences in the past with family and my hair. Having Sophia take the time to reassure me, and to help me explore styles in a way I've never been allowed to, has been wonderful. Thank you so much, Sophia!!“

I had never dyed/highlighted my hair before and didn't know what I was doing, but Pari was very patient and gave me great advice. She listened to me and noticed I was a bit nervous to dive in and suggest highlights instead of a full dye. She was completely correct and I left loving my hair! “This is my first time here, and one of the best haircut experiences I’ve ever had. As an Asian man, I’ve found it difficult to find barbers that felt confident in giving me a haircut that suits my hair type and face, but I definitely found it here!The owner of the salon was so incredibly thorough, and took a lot of time just to plan her approach to giving me what I wanted. She clearly is an artist at heart, and so detail oriented. She went 30 minutes over my appointment just to make sure everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a quick haircut, this isn’t the place. But, if you’re willing to spend a little (reasonably) more to get a high quality haircut, I couldn’t recommend this place any more.It’s been about 2 weeks now and I can confidently say my hair has never looked or felt better. I’m sadly from out of town, but if I were from the Bay I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my hair. Thank you Aura Spa and Salon for setting my hair up for success!“
