“My dog was spayed there last November, and Dr. Kane was very helpful and communicative. I was concerned because my dog had been vomiting a couple of days prior to the surgery. Dr. Kane explained some options and all went very well. Everyone is very friendly to humans and animals. They respect your time as well. I am very glad I found them.“

“At first, I was skeptical about Story Road Animal Hospital given its location. The front door has a metal gate that's constantly locked. However, after the door opens into the front room, I am impressed with how it is day and night from the inside to outside. The customer service was phenomenal. The moment I stepped in, the vet assistants were very helpful to explain the steps they will take to spay my fur baby. I am happy that they did a clean incision that my girl healed as if there was no surgery. The vet personally called me at the end of spay to give me the good news of a successful operation. The surgery required a deposit but I think that was a good thing they do to ensure only serious patients. Thank you Story Road Animal Hospital for providing services for people in budget.“

“This a great place to bring your pets. My dog is a little extra and I feel like he gets treated with VIP status. The vet techs, Vet Dr, and front desk staff always get down and great my dog. I’m always told upfront the diagnostic and treatment recommendations. They’re aware that treatments can be costly but inform me if that can wait for a future visit. When we got pet insurance, my pet insurance was giving us a hard time saying they hadn’t received the care notes, I called Kirkwood and spoke with front desk staff and they provide me with exact details when items were sent to my pet insurance. Spoke to my insurance and they sure got their act together. Thank you for treating my dog with VIP status.“

Hence we continue to go all the way here because my fearful, shy dog does very well wirh the vets and vet teachs. The place is run in an organized manner and not chaotic like other vet offices. We love having access to holistic vets who understand the big picture and it's great to have accupuncture and chiropractic services all in the same place. They vets take time and give you personal attention and you get to go in and have a room to yourself and your pet.The best part is unlike a lot of vets, they're not trying to sell you flea/tick medication, vaccines, and keep pumping your let's with whatever is recommended on paper. I like they they give us the information and leave us to make well informed choices. They are open and knowledgeable about the latest science and hence take time to understand and then make recommendations. This is why we continue to go far to access their services.“

“I, personally, had a very weird experience with Dr Prabhdeep this week. He seemed very good and very attentive to my dog, but was absolutely rude and disrespectful to me. Starting with snapping at me for coming closer to my dog when he seemed to be in distress and then continuing with fully disregarding and ignoring anything I’d say. Maybe he was having a bad day, but never had I never had a vet make me cry. I’m already there concerned with my dog’s help and to have an audacity to be rude and disrespectful - not okay in my book. So just be aware. If this happens again - I’ll be changing hospitals.“
