Definitely the top of the list if you prefer to support a local brick and mortar for all your best friends raw kibble likings.“

“Rigo was helpful getting me registered for my pup's registration and was great explaining what to expect for my pup's first play day. He pulled up the livestream so that I was able to watch as Sitka was introduced to the other pups and staff. As I watched the livestream I could see he was very comfortable meeting staff and other pups, and that was very reassuring. He was happy when I picked him up and that made me comfortable. I look forward to Sitka's next playdate!“

“What a gem! Paw Haven truly saved me over the holidays after I was searching for reliable dog care since losing our longtime dog sitter. From the moment I brought my dog in for his temperament test, I immediately felt at ease—the staff were relaxed yet incredibly professional.
My dog is a senior with diabetes, requires insulin, and is partially blind, so I was nervous leaving him for over a week with new people in a new place. The staff reassured me right away that my pup would be in great hands—and he absolutely was.
I also love that the dogs get their own room vs. being in a crate! The frequent Instagram story updates gave me so much peace of mind, too.
Special thanks to Tony, who administered insulin shots twice a day and he stays overnight with the pups! “I wanted to leave a 5 star review for the melrose vet. They helped my dad get healthy after 3 days of being sick and took the time to take care of him and make sure I was informed. Unlike the pet hospitals, the melrose vet puts the energy into making you feel like you’re apart of the process and you know what’s going on. As a college student they worked wonders for me from an affordability standpoint and I would say to 1000% trust them.

“The owner is a class act and understands customer service. I came in from out of town, and my dogs were absolutely filthy from a camping trip. I called late on a Monday for a same-day bath. The owner was absolutely amazing in accepting my dogs on short notice! This is the type of service that keeps customers returning. Not only did he accommodate me in a difficult time, but he also did a frickin amazing grooming job on my two Australian Shepherds!!! Pricing was great too. Can't thank him enough. “Ian and his crew love dogs! I wish I could say this is common in his field, but we had several bad experiences elsewhere before Sunset Barquis. We love our dog beyond a healthy amount, and relinquishing control over him is hard for us (yes, we’re helicopter parents).

Through picture and video updates throughout the day we can see our little guy having the time of his life, playing with the other dogs and the staff. They walk him regularly, feed him and offer a variety of other services.

They are extremely reasonable with their prices, and we would happily pay more to receive the same quality of care and attention. If you need a place for your fur baby to be safe while you’re busy with life, you can trust them to take care of yours like their own.“
