I took my kitchen drawer to be repaired at Fischer Restoration. The complete front face broke off from the rest of the drawer. The wood was splintered and looked unrepairable. My whole experience with Ben Fischer was A+ from start to finish. Ben was upfront with the work needed to repair it and gave me a very reasonable quote, especially considering the cost of having my carpenter create a new drawer for me. The amazing part is now the drawer is even stronger than when it was first built by my carpenter! It will definitely stand the test of time with my kids who tend to be rough with opening and closing drawers. When I took the drawer home, it fit perfectly straight into my custom kitchen cabinets. Plus, Ben went above and beyond by touching up the paint so that it looks brand new! I highly recommend Fischer Restoration. The workshop is an awesome place to visit with vintage signs and antiques decorating the space. I felt like I was in a very cool, retro museum. Such quality, personal service from a stand-up guy! We are lucky to have a person of Ben's caliber here on the central coast!

I went to the Foot and Snkle Center of the Central Coast, in Orcutt, about a month ago, with a swollen fourth toe. I’m so glad I picked Dr. Fillerup! He starts with the least invasive methods, explains them very well, and also goes over other options, if the problem persists. As I am getting older, my toes tend to curl in toward the adjacent toe, so when hiking or running, the toe gets sore and swollen. He suggested I try a simple toe support—which he provided me—very comfortable, to see how that works. It worked great! At his suggestion, if I still continue to experience pain, we can explore other options. Very nice doctor, friendly and efficient staff. Will only go to Dr. Fillerup!

We did not see Dr. Kirk at our latest appointment, we saw his staff and a nurse. They were fine. I do wish that the nurse had noticed when my husband went from uncomfortable to really painful as she inflated the catheter balloon. I told her and she listened and took my suggestion from what I had noticed during home care. She adjusted and the rest of the catheter change went well.

I started going to Van’s nails since November and let me tell you my nail tech Tim is by far the best. I went in for an acrylic set and he suggested the Gel X, after that I was sold. I love this nail salon! I started coming here when my favorite nail tech ever Annie moved salons. I had been getting my nails done by her since 2020 and I’ll never go to anyone else! Annie is the absolute best. She is a true artist and also a super sweet and lovely person. If you can’t tell already I absolutely adore her! But back to the salon in general. It’s clean, hip, and they have so many options for colors. Like so so many. And it’s not just colors they have all the different types of polish too. I don’t even know what some of them are lol. Super well organized and the rest of the staff is always friendly and happy to greet you when you arrive. They have stuff to drink if you want it too! Month old piercing fell out on Monday I went in on Tuesday for the first time, let me just say the entire aesthetic and atmosphere inside was awesome, and everyone was just so welcoming. Sarah Carpenter had me in and out in less than 10 minutes. The process didn't hurt and I can't say it enough but she was AMAZING. Pricing was very affordable. I regret not tipping her more. I will now be going to her for future piercings if ever I do decide to get more.
Without a doubt, this is the best plumber I've ever had. I was looking for a plumber that's honest with some integrity and honesty. I had Jeff Johnson, and he is super nice and honest. I had this plumber from having another dishonest plumber all in a three day period. You see, I needed to bring my hot water heater up to code, like a table for it to sit on. But afterwards my hot water heater started to leaked....a lot. So I called Jack's plumbing, and talked with Josh, told him my problem, and he sent out Jeff. For two days I tried to get someone back out to stop the leak, from the original plumber, I could not. Josh was so kind and sincere. Jeff came out twice. Jack's plumbing I promise you, you can trust them. It's a shame that some dishonest plumbers make it hard on the honest plumbers because most of us do not know how to recognize who is honest or who is dishonest. I'm so happy I called JACK'S PLUMBING. Thank you guys so much. Oh by the way, I just had my 86th birthday, and I was taken advantage of.

We had Curtis lanini plumbing come and inspect our water heater. Was preparing for the worse. A new water heater and install is not cheap. With great surprise it was a minor repair. Called Alvarado Plumbing to fix a shower handle/valve for my mom. Jose showed up when he said he would show up and got the job done correctly the first time. My mom had called another plumber for the same problem back in Feb 2024 and they didn’t even install the valve correctly and charged my mom $350 for a 15min job. Jose showed up and completed the job in 10min and charged half. He’s an honest individual with extremely reasonable prices and I will definitely be recommending him to friends and family.

Jeff and his very capable assistant Mario performed magic on my very dirty carpet in the office. With all the foot traffic and a dog my 900 square-foot office got pretty dirty over this past year. I realized I shouldn’t waste my time and money on cleaners who don’t know what they’re doing. Steamco brought it with the truck and the hoses and they were able to remove all of the dirt in an hour. Their service was professional, with professional equipment, at a very reasonable rate. I’m so glad I called him after seeing his truck on the freeway. I highly recommend his services to anyone for your business or your home if you want to have a professional job done well.

The Halsell team remodeled my kitchen and bathrooms and installed a new sliding door in my condo and not only did they provide excellent craftsmanship but did it within the budget I set up. They even went so far as to help find a special tile that went with the theme I used in the bathroom. After the job was completed, they came back free of charge to help install a new screen door on the front as I didn't have the tools to do it myself. I loved everything they did for me. Sadly I moved to another state and had to give up my beautiful kitchen.

Dr Wayne Miller is tentative and caring with his patients. I’m a disabled vet with a complicated list of issues stemming from my military deployments in Iraq 2006-2007. The VA has done nothing to improve my traumatic brain injuries and the muscle skeletal trauma I endured from various activities over seas.
