I took my kitchen drawer to be repaired at Fischer Restoration. The complete front face broke off from the rest of the drawer. The wood was splintered and looked unrepairable. My whole experience with Ben Fischer was A+ from start to finish. Ben was upfront with the work needed to repair it and gave me a very reasonable quote, especially considering the cost of having my carpenter create a new drawer for me. The amazing part is now the drawer is even stronger than when it was first built by my carpenter! It will definitely stand the test of time with my kids who tend to be rough with opening and closing drawers. When I took the drawer home, it fit perfectly straight into my custom kitchen cabinets. Plus, Ben went above and beyond by touching up the paint so that it looks brand new! I highly recommend Fischer Restoration. The workshop is an awesome place to visit with vintage signs and antiques decorating the space. I felt like I was in a very cool, retro museum. Such quality, personal service from a stand-up guy! We are lucky to have a person of Ben's caliber here on the central coast!

I started going to Van’s nails since November and let me tell you my nail tech Tim is by far the best. I went in for an acrylic set and he suggested the Gel X, after that I was sold. I love this nail salon! I started coming here when my favorite nail tech ever Annie moved salons. I had been getting my nails done by her since 2020 and I’ll never go to anyone else! Annie is the absolute best. She is a true artist and also a super sweet and lovely person. If you can’t tell already I absolutely adore her! But back to the salon in general. It’s clean, hip, and they have so many options for colors. Like so so many. And it’s not just colors they have all the different types of polish too. I don’t even know what some of them are lol. Super well organized and the rest of the staff is always friendly and happy to greet you when you arrive. They have stuff to drink if you want it too! Also you can book appointments online so it’s super convenient. If you’re looking for a place to get your nails or toes done I highly recommend trying this place out!

Month old piercing fell out on Monday I went in on Tuesday for the first time, let me just say the entire aesthetic and atmosphere inside was awesome, and everyone was just so welcoming. Sarah Carpenter had me in and out in less than 10 minutes. The process didn't hurt and I can't say it enough but she was AMAZING. Pricing was very affordable. I regret not tipping her more. I will now be going to her for future piercings if ever I do decide to get more.

I called around 1pm and someone was out before 2pm. I believe the gentleman's name was Oscar & he explained to me what was happening and his action plan. By 3pm the leak was fixed. Called Alvarado Plumbing to fix a shower handle/valve for my mom. Jose showed up when he said he would show up and got the job done correctly the first time. My mom had called another plumber for the same problem back in Feb 2024 and they didn’t even install the valve correctly and charged my mom $350 for a 15min job. Jose showed up and completed the job in 10min and charged half. He’s an honest individual with extremely reasonable prices and I will definitely be recommending him to friends and family.

He installed two electric vehicle charging stations for us 2 years ago in one day. When the city changed the rule on required permit for a home station, we submitted required documents and final inspection was approved without any other changes to the completed project. They still function perfectly, and Armstrong's is still there to provide service, support, and advice.Slage Primus? Yes. Hardware stores and electronic 'key-osks' can't duplicate the keys. They cannot be 'bumped'. As far as I know, Armstrong's is the sole local provider in Santa Maria.Armstrong's is also a premier source of innovative solutions for outside gates and so on.They cleverly provided a key system which allows our gardeners access to our patio, but not the residence, while we need but one for all gates and entries. The water company can access the exchange tank, but that is all.45 years in business.

Jeff and his very capable assistant Mario performed magic on my very dirty carpet in the office. With all the foot traffic and a dog my 900 square-foot office got pretty dirty over this past year. I realized I shouldn’t waste my time and money on cleaners who don’t know what they’re doing. Steamco brought it with the truck and the hoses and they were able to remove all of the dirt in an hour. Their service was professional, with professional equipment, at a very reasonable rate. I’m so glad I called him after seeing his truck on the freeway. Saw Dr. Stuart Adam the other day for a cleaning and exam. I can honestly say he is the best dentist I've ever had! Normally I have a enormous fear the dentist when I go in for appointments. During the exam, he was able to explain everything about my teeth and really provide clarity that my previous dentist did not.

Reading all the reviews here - I am surprised because I have had the complete opposite experience at both Santa Maria and Lompoc. The staff is SUPER NICE - like otherworldly nice and friendly and funny. I have found the front desk staff helpful, professional, responsive and efficient. In being new to area I was super sketched to go to a new dentist they have been amazing. I got my wisdom teeth out with them and that went SUPER easy and they were so accommodating. I have also done invisalign now with them and that also

I have been having back, left leg/ankle/foot issues from an initial lifting injury in 2014, then a year and a half ago, I had a bad slip-fall on a dusty path in Orcutt Hills. I went flat on my back and my left leg and foot jerked inwards giving me lasting issues, complicated plantar fasciitis, and Achilles heel.
Fast forward to mid-June, I met Beau for my first treatment. Much to my relief, my fears of major hip, knee, foot surgery were alleviated. He told me how common my injuries were, and that he could fix them.
Within the first two treatments, much of my mobility was back already. Today was my third treatment, and in addition to various other areas, I told him I was having a little tightness in my left foot and ankle, still, so he had me lay on my back and grabbed my left leg, pulling it away from the table. He told me to just relax the leg completely and then he started to bounce my leg up and down. Suddenly, he pulled my foot and I simultaneously heard and felt my ankle pop into place! The funny thing is, that as shocking as that was, it didn’t hurt at all, and made me feel a little giddy.
Don’t be afraid of chiropractics, and choose this guy, for sure!
Holistic Health Group is amazing. This chiropractic office incorporates deep tissue massage, cupping or acupuncture into each adjustment. I've never been to another office that does this! It really adds to the adjustment and I leave feeling amazing, refreshed and adjusted. So nice! Scheduling appointments is easy and the front desk gals are kind and helpful.

Dr Wayne Miller is tentative and caring with his patients. I’m a disabled vet with a complicated list of issues stemming from my military deployments in Iraq 2006-2007. The VA has done nothing to improve my traumatic brain injuries and the muscle skeletal trauma I endured from various activities over seas. Dr Miller has identified multiple issues contributing to my aggravations and is amazing at alleviating those problems. He is thorough and explanatory, and cares deeply for the veteran community. I highly recommend this doctor for your health care needs

I came to Dr. Carbone with bad hip and neck pain about a year and a half ago. He did a thorough spinal scan after I got my referral from the VA. I saw him twice a week for a month or so and his adjustments have help tremendously! My hip and neck pain are both gone and I see him every week now to maintain a pain free life. Every appointment, he asks if there's anything he should focus on.
Scheduling with Andrea is super easy and convenient. And I get text reminders the day before. Love that!

Five stars for an incredibly thorough training program! The instructors here take your education seriously and don't rush you through the process. They walked us step-by-step through a massive amount of material—from the classroom knowledge and the pre-trip routine inspection make sure you pay attention to how they explain and practice it everyday when you get in because it is very important, next was moving onto yard skills and real-world road driving. They made sure every single student actually understood the 'why' behind what we were doing, not just the bare minimum to pass. If you want to be properly prepared for a trucking career, come here. Let me add I passed my first try on my pre trip inspection, my skills, and my behind the wheel test and they have the highest passing rate out of all the schools.

They pay extra attention to each student on a case by case basis during the entire duration of the course. These guys want you to succeed! After the course was over I felt confident for the DMV test, and guess what? I passed on my first attempt. You guys rock!
