Ari took the time to walk through our house layout during the initial consulation, and offered helpful options to account for our requirements. Scheduling was quick and easy, once we had settled on a plan, and communication was timely throughout. Pricing was competitive and transparent, and Ari was also glad to help us price out options and alternatives, and we were fully comfortable with proceeding with itemized quote breakdown. Our installer Josue was very thoughtful once onsite, and once we had a chance to walk through the physical space, worked quickly and efficiently to hook up every room. Every connection was validated, tidily routed through our attic, and cleanup was impeccable. Would highly recommend their services as a locally owned business that cares about doing the job right!”

“I manage a block of buildings in uptown Oakland that encompasses numerous entities and uses. We had an old PBX phone system serving nearly 100 people in multiple buildings, with lots of sub departments. Alternative Techs helped us sort out and streamline 16 years of past programming and abandoned extensions. The people who work at Alternative are truly nice and helpful (and patient!). This is important because there is a lot of interaction needed to track details. They really focused on planning in advance and letting us know what to expect. I liked that! Lastly, the phones...Our old phones had fallen into disuse (partly because of Covid). But our staff quickly adopted the new system, including how to use cell phone apps, call forwarding, DND, voicemail to e-mail and more. As property manager, I can now do more of the admin than before (efficient). And because we now use the Internet instead of telecom connection, we’re actually saving money. I recommend Alt Tech. They also keep me away from the many scam artists who claim they have a fix.
