I'd had some bad experiences with other companies flaking on estimates or just not getting back to me at all. Luis reached out the same day I sent him a message, and came out the next day for an estimate. He was prompt, friendly, and paid close attention to detail, pointing out things the other 2 guys I'd met with skipped over. He explained the process including prep, what paint to use, and how long it would take. I knew he would do an excellent job and felt very confident going with him. His price was competitive, he worked with my schedule (and around all my pets, which can be challenging), and his team did a fantastic job. His crew was always early, considerate, meticulous about protecting furniture and floors, and cleaned up at the end of each day. I'm thrilled with how the work turned out and highly, highly recommend LR Painting. We'll definitely use them again.”

“I'm basically banned from pinterest because I get obsessed, but since June I've been dying to resurface my patio. It wasn't in bad shape but I wanted something more aesthetic, more 2025 you know. I went down a rabbit hole with AI and basically became an expert on flooring materials. When I requested the estimate with Expert Home Builders I already knew exactly what I wanted and with what materials, I felt so fabulous explaining to them why I wanted epoxy instead of poly. They also advised me on some things I didn't know like the ideal thickness and color options that would work better with the sun that hits there. We finally went with a light gray epoxy with decorative flakes that give it texture without being too much. They also installed a screen enclosure around the whole patio so we could use it without dealing with mosquitos or all the dust getting in. The epoxy needed several days to cure completely before we could walk on it. I've put it to the test already and I'm still in love, it was a really good experiance.”

“Paul did a beautiful job on our custom maple wainscoting and bar work at Bohemia. This was not a basic install. The project involved a lot of layout decisions, uneven floor conditions, outlet coordination, panel proportions, cap details, and making sure everything would work both visually and practically in a commercial space. Paul was thoughtful throughout the process and clearly knows finish carpentry.<br><br>What I appreciated most was that he did not just rush through it. He took the time to think through the details, explain options, and flag things that could affect the final result before cutting into the material. He was especially careful with the panel layout, wood movement, grain direction, and how the base and trim should be handled so the finished product would both look right and hold up well over time.<br><br>The wainscoting came out really elegant and clean, and the craftsmanship is obvious in person. It gave the space warmth and character immediately. The bar work also came out great and tied in nicely with the rest of the room. “I reached out to Ogi on Nextdoor to find and fix leaks in our roof. Ugo’s inspection was thorough, professional, and honest. Instead of trying to sell me a new roof, he discovered that the leaks were due to other parts of the roof (exposed exterior beams, chimney flashing in disrepair). He explained everything fully, gave me a detailed estimate and scope of work, and delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Based on the heavy rains we had a few days later, everything was completed to a “T”! Their workers, who are all employees – no subcontractors, showed up on time every day and did quality work. The support staff is also very professional and provided detailed spreadsheet of the different phases and costs involved in the work.
