“Was looking to do something exterior renovations/improvements to my parents house which they’ve lived in for the last 20+ years.

After looking into 7+ other contractors, my friend referred MK Builders to me for a new roof and exterior repainting. Coming from a person who isn’t very experienced working with contractors and hearing all the horror stories about craftsmanship, promptness, and quality control, I’ve been blow away with the entire experience.

Rob was very transparent and honest throughout the entire process. His prices were reasonable as well. What stood out the most was the quality of work and ability to finish things on time (including passing all inspections).

If you’re someone like me that lacks experience but wants to avoid a nightmare scenario, then I can’t recommend MK Builders enough. Their communication, transparency, and ability to deliver really stands out and is greatly appreciated“

“I'm basically banned from pinterest because I get obsessed, but since June I've been dying to resurface my patio. It wasn't in bad shape but I wanted something more aesthetic, more 2025 you know. I went down a rabbit hole with AI and basically became an expert on flooring materials. When I requested the estimate with Expert Home Builders I already knew exactly what I wanted and with what materials, I felt so fabulous explaining to them why I wanted epoxy instead of poly. They also advised me on some things I didn't know like the ideal thickness and color options that would work better with the sun that hits there. We finally went with a light gray epoxy with decorative flakes that give it texture without being too much. They also installed a screen enclosure around the whole patio so we could use it without dealing with mosquitos or all the dust getting in. The epoxy needed several days to cure completely before we could walk on it. I've put it to the test already and I'm still in love, it was a really good experiance.“

“Salvador and his team were communicative, professional and efficient in their work. They finished the job within the time frame they indicated on the contract which we really appreciated. Jackie was very nice and communicated the steps on the project and told me if there were any issues. Salvador was very knowledgeable and passed all city inspections without issues. We were actually very hesitant at first since getting scammed by a contractor and our project getting multiple delays so we werent very trusting but Salvador and his team reassured us that he will fix and help us out with this bathroom addition. They worked tirelessly from late march to early June, monday through friday in the heat and they never complained. The payment process was also very easy and manageable. Their pricing was also outstanding for the quality of work they provide. I heard that his company is also a family business which is why theyre so personable and cared about their clients wants and needs. “Paul did a beautiful job on our custom maple wainscoting and bar work at Bohemia. This was not a basic install. The project involved a lot of layout decisions, uneven floor conditions, outlet coordination, panel proportions, cap details, and making sure everything would work both visually and practically in a commercial space. Paul was thoughtful throughout the process and clearly knows finish carpentry.

What I appreciated most was that he did not just rush through it. He took the time to think through the details, explain options, and flag things that could affect the final result before cutting into the material. He was especially careful with the panel layout, wood movement, grain direction, and how the base and trim should be handled so the finished product would both look right and hold up well over time.

The wainscoting came out really elegant and clean, and the craftsmanship is obvious in person. It gave the space warmth and character immediately. The bar work also came out great and tied in nicely with the rest of the room. Paul cares about the end result and it shows.

If you are looking for someone for detailed trim or custom millwork and want somebody who actually thinks through the job instead of just nailing things up, I would absolutely recommend him.“

“When I called Mario, he answered immediately. We set the date for consultation and he was on time. We spoke for a while and walked the outside of home. He explained in detail what the process was for repairing, priming and painting. Mario explained everything that would take place.
